It truly is amazing the kind of bad things people are willing to do for power, I move further into the room but keep my distance, the stench is much to over powering for me “what is the reason for gagging her” “she has tried more than once to place curses upon us, which is obviously a waste of effort on our part but we could not risk her placing curses on anyone else” “oh my goodness I can not take the scent much longer Winter Wards, please take her and do with her as you see fit for now just please get her out of here”

She fights against her restraints as the Wards encase her in a frost bubble and disappear into their usual snow “by the Gods, open the windows!” I retch, whew what a horrible way to live!

“Your Highness, we have come to report that all the women who are not among our ranks, the pups and elderly have all been safely evacuated from their homes, they’ve been placed in our bunkers and we have given them a few extra rations just in case” “very good” “we have also found the hide outs marked by Red, T-I mean Your Highness, she’s even stocked them with supplies and gear, it took us a bit of time to find them because they are so well camouflaged up in the tree tops”

“Okay well we will gather our troops and dispatch them to the hideouts so they can be our eyes up high, the mines will be our alerts from below and the rest of us just have to be prepared for what comes in the middle, I just wish we could figure out a way to get rid of this damned hellfire!”

“What is that?” I turn to see a portal open “stand down it is my Mother-In-Law” she comes through the portal and looks around “ah, there you are”, she comes over to me “there is something I need to tell you quickly, well the most important being the hellsfire, it will act as a gateway from the under world, so you need to assign people to guard around it at all times because the things that will crawl up from below will be unlike anything you’ve ever seen before, we are currently trying to track down the White Witch”

“White Witch? What do you need a Witch for?” she rolls her eyes “please do not tell me you are as ignorant as your forefathers son, the same way there are good and bad people, wolves and rogues, there are dark and white witches, the white witch is the reason your forefather was able to win the war against the dark ones before and now we need her again, she is the only one who would know how to put the fire out”

“The gateway was opened by the one Reina as we told you, who was a very powerful dark witch but she will be no match for the one Tabitha plus all of us, I have been tyring to find her but so far I have had no luck, I do not know where she could be hiding”

I had no idea my father was close by until he spoke “Tabitha you say?” she eyes my father “yes that is correct, do you know of her?” “I have heard of her before yes, quite recently actually and the one who knows her and where she is, is Red”

“What?! Azealia knows the White Witch?” “yes that is correct, they are friends and she has taught Red quite a lot of potions and spells over the years, why don’t you just ask her?” my dad asks looking around “we, cant ask her because she is in the Elemental Kingdom, recovering, she’s still unconscious”

“Oh my, well then there goes that, the only person who would know where to find the person we need is unconscious, isn’t that a bitch?”  I turn to her mom “isn’t there anything we can do to wake her up sooner or maybe extract the information from her?”

“No, I’m afraid not, extracting the information from her can cause damage to her mind, it is only a last resort used in getting into the minds of criminals at our Kingdom” I see, well I most certainly do not want to cause any harm to my mate so we will truly just have to wait on her.

“It would seem as though my daughter is of great importance to us on both sides then, ah yes one more thing, I would like for you to have a safe spot to set up a healing clinic, I will bring the Healer Sprites as well as my mate to help treat the injured”

“Considering we have no idea where this war will come from I do not know where I can choose or consider to be a safe place to set up a clinic, unless we make more than one stations around the city” “yes you can do that, do you need medical supplies or are you well stocked?” “we are well stocked but you can bring yours as well so we can join them up, medical supplies are never too much”

She waves her hand and opens another portal “Healers!” a group of men and women come through and bow “your majesty” this is where we will be setting up the medic stations, you would probably know best where you want to be, we will do may Six or Four stations, so choose your spots and then access the medical supplies they have and then we can see what we need to bring from the Kingdom”

They look around and disperse, running at the speed of light I would say “how on earth are they so fast?” “they’re Sprites it is in their nature”

A breeze floats past us and one of the Sprites appear, a female and she whispers something to the Empress and her eyes widen before she looks up at me angrily “why do you have the Devourant here? It belongs in the Everglaze Mangrove!” “a Devourant?” “you speak of the creature in the forbidden forest I assume”

She turns and faces my father “forbidden forest?” “it has been here since before I was born, we don’t know where it came from or what keeps it in the forest, it almost killed your pup a few months ago”

Her eyes darken “What?! Take me to it, it does not belong here and must be returned to the Everglaze Mangrove, it probably attacked Azealia because it has begun to be contaminated by the outer world! Further more you can not begin to imagine what would have happened to us if the Dark Ones got their hands on it!”
