Tyler steps forward, “I just want to know one thing” “and what is that King of Wolves” “what on earth would make you want to do such a thing to innocent people?”

Umi sneers turning back to his dark form “innocent you say?!” he seems angry “my parents were innocent but they were slayed by your fore fathers, leaving me alone as a pup which brought me pain enough to remember, you’re people drew first blood, I gave up on having my wolf for the power of darkness, had they not been killed I would have been a different person!”

“What makes you so certain it was my fore fathers who did it?” he angrily searches his person and presents a piece of cloth, when Tyler opens it, his father comes closer and looks, when he opens it , I recognized it.

“I – I’ve seen this before!” Umi looks to me “where?!” “in a vision, Tabby do you remember the vision I told you about when I saw that book, a shadow creature cut that piece of cloth from the cape of the Alpha King who defeated the first Reaper Leader while he was not paying attention and went away with it, I don’t think it was the King’s doing Noah”

He looks at me as though I‘ve just pulled the rug from under him and he falls to his knees and speaks softly “how can that be?” he looks back at me “all those years of hate and planning was for what?” the lord of the underworld laughs “there is nothing more satisfying than anguish to me so I’ll give you a little treat!”

He waves his hand and a puff of smoke shows what I spoke of, the shadow figure doing what I said, then laying in hiding watching and observing moving from place to place then settling and burying a box under a large tree and remaining there until a village started and a family moved close by, it then fast forwarded to the creature attaching itself to a man I presume to be Noah’s father and you see his entire demeanour changes and he goes home “no dad no!” Noah shouts as he watched his father kill his mother and others then himself and the piece of cloth floats down onto the scene just before the little boy comes home.

He looks so broken and I want to comfort him, he cries out and my heart breaks for him as the underworld lord chuckles “I have wasted more than enough time here I am losing my strength, let us go before the portal closes completely, you will serve Ten Thousand years in purgatory with my Minx” Noah says nothing and just allow him to drag him away.

The Lord leaps in first and pulls Noah behind, after they fall through the crack closes up, the tornado is still going strong sucking up the remnants of the battle and the dark skies “how will we stop the tornado Tabby?” “once it sucks up the clouds completely it will fizzle out on it’s own” “okay, we need to do a sweep of the grounds to ensure we’ve got all of them, mom and I will handle it”

“You will do no such thing pup of mine, you will rest and I will escort the guards to do the sweep, you’ve just woken up, fought and now in the pouring rain” “I need to get it done while my adrenaline is still pumping, let’s go, I open a portal at the northern end of the border while my mom takes the southern, from there I go to the western border as I’m sure she’s at the eastern and we all meet up at the front then head back to the city centre.

We get back in time to see the tornado fizzle out as Tabitha said “everything seems clear” the rain beats down on us and another flash of lightening shoots across the sky before the thunder rolls “okay everyone! We have more than earned a rest, take a rest and tomorrow we will figure out where we go from here!” My parents come over to us and hugs me “I’m so glad you’re okay, don’t ever scare your mother like that again!” “sorry, I didn’t mean to” my father hugs me as well.

“We are going to head back as well, the sprites will stay until tomorrow when I return to continue with their healing, have a good rest my love” “you too mother and thank you too Winter Wards for your assistance” they bow “it was our duty and pleasure your highness” they all leave through my mothers portal “Tabby you and your followers are welcome to spend the night in the castle” “thank you Sala”.

We all head into the castle, as much as Cory and Carson want’s to go to their mates they know it’s best to wait because having them come out of hiding now is not the best move and we just never know if this truly is the end.
