The snow bed glows white and then the light fades, Sephian retrieves him then drop Three drops of our Worna potion onto the centre of his head and once again there’s no reaction “count yourself lucky Adriel, he is unaffected, you make take him. Adriel snatches him from Sephian, it is almost amusing.

“Would you really have killed him”

“Most certainly” we answered instantly “ please send me back to the Elemental forest and I thank you for your kindness” “Harrow return to Mali, Zeenon and I will take him back and meet you there”

I head back to the medical wing to find both Sereya and Mali gone “Sereya!” I shout looking around but no answer or sign of her, I blow out some frosted air from my mouth and soon a trail emerges in the frost “what’s going on?” “where is the prisoner?” “I am about to find out” I follow the trail quickly, Sephian and Zeenon joining in so we can get to Sereya quickly.

Her tracks stop at the back door but it’s impossible for her to get out here because only one of us can open this door, it’s a dimensional door, you just have to think of where you want to go and step through it.

“That’s not possible, Sereya has no way of opening this door”

I unseal it and open it but there is nothing there, what would normally happen if you open the door after it was used without thinking of where you want to go you’d end up where the last person went, so one always has to be careful.

“There’s n- agghhhh” *BANG*!

Sereya falls, unconscious to the floor and Harrow is holding his neck, the she wolf somehow managed to climb up the wall and perch herself there while carrying Sereya, well Wisps weigh next to nothing because they float around, how on earth did she manage to accost Sereya and convince her to bring her here, I will have to revisit this matter at a later time, I close the door and reseal it then evaluate Harrows situation, he’s gripping his neck because he’s bleeding, his Silver blood runs out from under his hand where he’s gripping it.

“Come Harrow hold onto me, Zeenon grab Sereya let’s teleport to the healing room straight away”

We do so and the circle drains more of Harrows essence and he collapses, we had already summoned the other Wisps to come to the medical room and they were already there and took both Sereya and Harrow to try and heal them.

They quickly make a salve and rub it onto his wound and it freezes over almost immediately, his breathing evens out but he remained asleep, after a few minutes Sereya opened her eyes and looked around before sitting up on the bed.

“W-Where is she?”

“Who?”

“That witch! The prisoner you brought here!”

“A Witch Sereya, have you been in the frost forest for too long”

“My Lords that she wolf is a Witch, not a born one but an inherited one, another Witch or Warlock willed her their power and she has been masking it or.....”

“Or she killed a witch and ate her heart” Sephian says finishing her unfinished statement “with all the madness I’ve seen as of late and the taboos that have been broken it is surprising that the Gods have not come down and destroyed us all for their transgressions”

“Please do not speak of such things Sephian! Before they strike you down where you stand”

“The Gods know I bare no malice or ill will Zeenon and you know it too so please calm yourself”

I turn to the other Wisps “how is Harrow?” “we will need to place him back in his root bed so the Winter Willow Snow tree can heal and restore him, he has lost quite a lot of blood” “very well, take him there, we need to report to her majesty what has happened, we also need a way to track Mali, if she really is a Witch now she would need to be caught and brought back before she does anything reckless”

“I feel like the Empress will either banish or murder us Sephian”

“You know if I had any humour left I would have laughed just then, let us get it over with, perhaps she will have a quicker way to track her than we will.”

I’ve just returned from visiting my pup and my grandpups, Azealia made us quite a lot of food, so we’ve brought some back to the palace and I’ve even shared with the kitchen staff, most here have never been out into the outer world as they choose to stay here where they’ve been born and grew and safe for the most part, so they saw no need to venture out.

Of course there are the few myself included who wanted to go looking for their fated mates and either stay out there or return, the majority returns because over time we would lose the elemental aspect of ourselves the longer we’re away from the kingdom, of course your wolf remains but your power and control over your element fades.
