" Roro, I know this may feel like I'm asking a lot of you but you understand don't you, I know what I said while not saying it out right when we spoke before but I'm sure your 'friend' would be able to help us " " it's fine my Alpha, I really have no problem doing this, it's like a sanctioned road trip to a friend! so I don't mind plus I can top up on some potions too! " " do you want me to send an escort with you? " " no way, sorry I mean, no thank you Alpha, I rather do this on my own, plus Tabi isn't so comfortable with new people " " understood well don't let me keep you and please Ro, be safe " " always, I will see you in a few days my Alpha "

I bow and turn to leave his office, opening and closing the door behind me gently, I turn and bump right into the chest of Ivan, who places two hands on my shoulders to steady me and keep me from falling backwards, " careful there Red, what's the hurry? " " hey Ivo! it's been a while since I've seen you, how you been? too busy for friends now hmm?! " he rubs the back of his head guiltily " don't be like that Red, I've been busy with training, you of all people should know what that's like " " I know Ivo, I'm just teasing " I hug him quickly and he hugs me back and exhales loudly as he nuzzles my neck and inhale deeply.

He pulls away and looks at me " it feels like ages, let's have dinner and catch up? " " aww sorry sweets, but I got to go, rain check? " " go where? " someone approaches him and his attention turns away from me and I use the opportunity to slip away when he's distracted.

I hear him shout after me as I open the front door of the pack house " REDDDD! " I cackle and run out the door, thankfully he doesn't chase after me. I get to my house and grab my overnight bag and grab a quick shower before getting dressed and grabbing my helmet and gear, I finally get to put my baby on the road! I'm giddy with excitement! I get to the garage and hop on and slowly roll back out of the garage.  

Then a silly yet not so far fetched thought crossed my mind, Nika and Nikola just might try to break into my home and take over while I'm away, we can't have that now can we, I quickly cover my home with a protective barrier, and hop back onto my baby, it really does pay to have a Witch as a friend in times like this haha.

I shiver as the engine roars to life and I take off from my yard up to the pack gate, the guards at the gate flag me, so I slow to a stop as I approach " oh Red it's you, didn't realize you had a bike " I grin, " he's a beauty isn't he? " " most definitely, alright well Alpha already notified us of your departure, I know you're the best there is Red but be careful out there on your own huh " " thanks JJ I will, see you soon ".

JJ opens the gate and I take off, oh my Goddess! this is so damn exhilarating! I feel so alive, so free! I feel when I leave the pack border and I am officially out in the open area, well I've never had any encounters before so this time should be no different.

I was just about to pull onto the main highway when Two black heavily tinted SUVs pull in, I stop and stare as they go by, there's an odd feeling in my chest, both vehicles go past me and head up towards the pack, I shrug it off and continue on my way out the gap and onto the highway.

That flight felt like an eternity, though it did feel great to sit and do nothing for a few hours, I even managed a nap, I feel very refreshed as I step down from my jet, I put my shades on and walk out to the SUV and get in, my guards sit in the SUV at the front and take off and only one sits in with me and the driver in the second SUV, we head off towards Alpha Teejans pack.

My wolf is stirring as though anticipating something and pacing in my mind ' what's wrong with you Hunter? ' I don't know, I just feel so uneasy, do you think we'd be attacked? ' ' well wouldn't that be fun? it's been so long since we got to properly stretch our limbs and have real fun ' we head up the highway and are just about to turn into the gap that leads to the pack when I hear an engine approaching.

I watch the bike approach and I do appreciate it, it's most certainly a beauty it was only after a few that I realize the rider, female? now that's something you don't see every day. Hunter perks up and looks as well both of us admire which is unusual for him.

I was just about to roll my window down when she turned and rode off in the opposite direction we came from.

" Is everything okay my King? " " hmm? oh yes, everything is fine, carry on " I sit back in my seat and we continue on our journey up.
