Chapter 52

" Impossible " Tabitha muttered to herself before looking at the others " you know what it is don't you Tabi? " " come Sala there is something I must show you " " NO TABITHA! YOU CAN'T! " " silence! if this is truly as she says then we must show her! "

" We barely managed to escape the last time they were here Tabitha! let us not be involved at all this time around, it is too dangerous! " "we scurried away like dogs with our tails between our legs last time, this time if this is really so we will at least guide them the right way through my Sala " 

Tabitha turns away from the scared looking bunch and looks at me "follow me child"  she leads me through her house and out the back by a large Dark Oar Willa Tree, I look up into the tree as lights dancing and darting through the tree " what are those lights Tabi? " " she can see them? " " I told you my Sala is special, they are Whisps my child, they protect the tree and what lays beneath it."

She says a chant while placing her hand on the tree and slowly the ground slides open and there is now a passage way leading down, she steps down and I follow after her, I am not sure how she is able to see in the dark like this but for me it's fine as my werewolf vision is in play.

All that can be heard is our footsteps echoing through the vast underground chamber, there are paintings, sculptures, artifacts, tapestry littering the chamber in every direction as we pass by, before stopping at a large wall I note the large heaps of Gold and Jewellery strewn about in piles, once again she places her hand on the wall and recites the same chant she did earlier, slowly the wall begins to open and we all go through " dracarr " the entire room is lit and I get a better view of where I am.

There are thousands of books from ceiling to floor and different mirrors all around the room with strange drawings above them " come here Sala and take a look at this " I walk over to a table that's at the centre of the room and sit down, Tabi hands me a book, it's very clear that it is an old book, I pass my hand over the hard cover, the design is so beautiful " can I open it? " she nods.

I open the book and flip the first page and it's empty, I flip the next and on and on and it's empty I look up and ask Tabi what is going on and why she gave me and empty book but I was alone and I was, I don't know where I am, I get up from were I'm sitting and I man rushes pass me " excuse me, can you tell me where I am " but he doesn't respond and simply continues to run.

More and more people run past me and no matter how much I try no one answers me, it was only then I took a minute to observe, their dress code is a lot different to what it is now, I must be in a vision, I run in the direction they are running from and come upon a war, there are werewolves, Lycans, Witches and many other species of creatures who are now extinct fighting against some of the most gruelling creatures imaginable.

I watch as the enemy uses some very slimy looking creatures to spread onto the other side which causes them to run mad then eventually turn against their own kind, " by the Gods " it seems that our side for lack of a better judgement is losing, I turn when a light from behind me illuminates the entire sky and the creatures begin to run. trying to escape the light desperately which turns the tide of the event.

The light seems to cause them great harm which is why the place seemed so gloomy before, the dark is their strength, they can not be in bright surroundings, with the exception of those who were taken over by the slime the other creatures are trying to hide themselves, I go towards the light to see what the source is and it's a group of Witches standing in a ritual circle chanting with a book and someone at the centre of the circle, I recognize her right away " Tabitha! " she's focused on her chanting and surrounded by the other Witches but one by one they are shot down by arrows and as the circle breaks the light begins to dim.

Where is the shooter? I look around and I see women, beautiful women standing in the tree lines in long flowing dresses shooting at them and standing in the back of one of them is someone, they're under a cloak so I can't see the face but the silhouette resembles a man.
