I rise early the following morning with every intention of sneaking out the cottage and head back to the pack, I freshen up in the bathroom as quietly as I could manage then make my bed before closing the door slowly, I head down the stairs, I get to the bottom and walk to the front door " going somewhere Sala? " I stop in my tracks and turn to see Tabitha sitting at her island and sipping from her coffee mug.

" Good morning Tabi " I smile at her and she gives me a stern gaze " don't try to butter me up, come and have something to eat, why do you always insist on running away every time you visit me child " I feel sheepish " I simply did not want to disturb you or the others sleep Tabi " " stop with your excuses and come and eat then you can go, Reginald has already attached the box to your death trap " I snicker.

" My baby is not a death trap Tabi, he's a bad boy beast! " I sit on the stool next to her and eat my breakfast, she sits next to me and sip her coffee, once I finish eating I go to the sink to wash up " leave them, I'll clean up, I know you have a long journey and I'd like you to get back before it's late " she comes up to me and looks at me as though committing my face to memory " please be careful Sala, you must promise me you'd take care of yourself "

" I promise you Tabi, I will try to keep myself alive " she smacks me " ahh, okay okay I will take care of myself Tabi, just for you " " thank you, now go " she says after pulling me into a hug.

I bid her farewell and push Ty from the porch and out of the barrier after ensuring there was no one around to see me Ieave and continue pushing all the way back to the road, I hop on and start my engine, ahh music to my ears.

I take off heading back towards the pack, there is so much information to relay, I only hope that Alpha Teejan believes me, but then again I've been to the place they are from and seen it with my own eyes, but if I say that much then I'd risk exposing Tabi and the others and their chamber, God's I have to think of a way to relay the information while protecting Tabi and the others, but how?

I approach a gas station a few miles away from Tabi's place and pull in to fill my tank, I go into the store and pay the attendant and go back to pump my gas when I feel eyes on me as I'm pumping, I can feel someone approach me from behind and I turn ready to strike if I have to " whoa whoa whoa, sorry to startle you miss, I was just wondering if you have any change so I can by some meds and water in the store "

I take my bag pack from my back and grab my wallet, I take out $200.00 and give it to him, I recognize him as one of the rogues from last night " here you go " " thank you, I'll bring your change right back " I smile " it's fine, is someone hurt or something? " he stiffens a bit " one of my friends got burned last night " oh? I didn't realize one of them got hurt.

I put the gas nozzle back in place, " there's a pharmacy a little ways away, hop on I'll take you there to get the proper bandage and things you'd need to  treat a burn " " you really don't have to I don't want to put you out of your way " " hey, if someone is in need of assistance you always do what you can to help, it's no trouble to me, hop on " I take my spare helmet from my seat and give it to him, he takes it and puts it on then gets on the bike behind me and holds on.

We pull up to the pharmacy, I park just by the door and we both go inside, I quickly grab a basket and put the things he'd need for his friend and pick up a few snacks and cold drinks and pay for them, I get them bagged and hand them to him after he returned from the mini mart next door to get food he offers me my money back " don't worry about it, let's head back "

He shows me where his friends are and I pull over, the group of them are gathered  at the base of a tree with one of them sitting breathing heavily " Keran who is that? " the others look at me as we both approach " she helped me get meds and food for us " " can I take a look at your friend? " " you a nurse or something? " " or something " 

I kneel next to him, up his leg all the way up to his side he's burnt " wow, this must be really painful for you bud, not to worry, I've got something that's fix you right up " I get a healing potion from my bag " Keran was it, can you pass me the bag, I need to disinfect the burn first.
