Keran rummages through the bag and passes me the bottle of disinfectant and some tissue from the roll I got, I look at the guy and he's staring at me intently " I'm gonna cause you a great deal of pain okay but I need you to keep your eyes on me and tough it out, I'm gonna hurt you to help you" , he nods still breathing heavily " lay on your side " he complies and lay down on his good side and turned his head to me.

" Okay big guy, eyes on me " I pour the disinfectant and I can see the pain in his eyes as his eyes water, I can see his wolf trying to surface no doubt trying to ease his pain " you're doing great just a little more, keep your eyes on me. Through his tears he never takes his eyes off me.

Once I finish the disinfecting I apply my potion to the burn then an Aloe salve " pass me the gauze Keran, don't touch the part that's going to go over the burn " he carefully opens them and passes them to me, I apply them then stick them.

I open a protein energy drink and put a straw inside and bring it to his head, he sips it slowly till it's finished I put some pain killers to his mouth and he takes them and swallows them down and I give him a drink of water before standing up.

" You guys are going to have to look after your friend, make sure he doesn't get the burns wet and change the bandage tomorrow around this time again, okay? " " okay " they all say " I give Keran the rest of the Salve because he won't need anymore of the healing potion " apply the salve, it will keep the burn cool and lessen the itching, because as it heals it will itch and he will want to scratch, where do you live? "

" Uh, we don't live anywhere right now " I sigh " I'll be right back" I ride to the hardware store and grab a few tents and sleeping bags, then the market and get some canned food and a small tea pot that I know they can use out in the woods, and a few pieces of clothes and shower gel, I get back to where I left them.

" I can't stay any longer, I have somewhere I need to be, take these about Six clicks away from here that way you'd come up to a spring, set up camp there until you can figure out what you wanna do, take care alright? "

I hustle back to my bike and ride off, I see in my rearview as I put some distance is the one rogue who was not affected by the Jablesse, where was he all the time?

We help Mikah up and he manages to match our pace through the woods, and soon enough we come up to the spring she told us about.

" Wow, well let's set up camp and go find fire wood to make a fire "

I distribute the tents and sleeping bags and we make up our tents in a circle with our entrances facing each other, the tents are a lot bigger than they seem.

I look through the toiletries in my tent and see three small bottles and a note attached to one of them.
