I never once took my eyes off the Alpha and Beta as I broke his fingers, I dropped his hand then kicked him over and he fell backwards and lay on his back crying out in pain.

" I have tolerated this bastard and others for many years without doing anything which is probably why they think they could do me anything they please but that ends now, starting with this ass wipe, I will accept whatever punishment you give me Alpha for defying you "

" Take Vince to the medical wing and you come with me, let's go to your squad captain and you will make a full report of what happened and he will decide your punishment "

We leave the centre after the slide Vince onto a stretcher and take him away to the medical wing, once we're out of ear shot of the others the Beta asked " that felt good didn't it? " " damn good too sir " he laughed " don't encourage her Trevor " " oh come on Tee, it's not like you didn't know the little shit had it coming though I am curious, he's one of the best at defence how did you manage to take him down "

" want a demonstration? " he stops and looks at me " by all means " the Alpha stops and looks on clearly amused but he says nothing " ready when you are miss Roro " once again I leaped into the air with my hand raised and once again the target assume defence position and switched swinging my leg but stopped myself before my foot connected with him and he jumped away toppling over which made Alpha Teejan howl with laughter.

" Fk me Roro you almost had me there, I've never seen someone change battle tactic mid air like that " " that's precisely why I hardly use it don't want others copying my signature move! " I help him up and once Alpha Teejan composes himself we carry on our way to my captain.

Alpha Teejan knocks " come on in " he calls out from inside his office, he rushes to his feet once he realizes who it is " Alpha, my apologies I didn't realize it was you " " it's fine Mac " he glanced at me " what has my problem child done this time to warrant both heads of the pack to deliver her to me in person "

" In my defence he slapped me first! " " oh Gods who is it and is he alive? " I roll my eyes and Beta Trevor laughs then clears his throat " it's young Mr. Vince I'm afraid " " ahh, Vince so you finally socked it to him, so do I need to go tell his family, bring flowers or something Alpha? " Beta Trevor laughs out loud this time patting his chest " oh my gosh Roro " he said through breath " your squad leader thinks the absolute worst of you " 

" He's not dead Mac, he's in the medical wing, possible cracked or broken rib and most definitely has broken fingers " he looks at me " figures, you broke the fingers on the hand he slapped you with huh " " correct, so we're here so you can punish me "

" P-Punish you ? for self defence? " " nope, punish me for, wait is the punishment for hurting him or for not listening to you when you said to stop Alpha " " the latter young lady " 

All eyes turn to Captain Evans whose eyes are now big like saucers as though he's wondering what he's supposed to say now or do with me " can I just say I would rather retire from the squad than apologies to him if that's what you're going to tell me to do " " wouldn't dream of kid " he says without missing a beat, " hmm first let's go and see how he is and based on how bad he's damaged I'd decide your punishment, which injury you gave him when the Alpha tried to stop you "  " fingers " 

 We get to the medical wing, I slip away to visit Ivo " Red! you finally came to see me! " " sorry Ivo, I was sent away on a mission and only got back last night " " oh that's fine Red I just want to say thank you for what you did for me back there Red, I'd probably be dead if it weren't for you "

" Hey. don't mention it, I'm sure anyone in my shoes would have done the same, I'm just glad I was there and able to help you, I know you may have to take a few days off to fully recover so I'd see you around okay? " " okay Red, see you thanks for checking in "

I follow Alphas' scent and find them in the ICU of the wing, I barely managed to come up to them when Vinces mother makes her way over to me " what the hell are you doing here after doing this to my son " I remain unfazed because what could she possibly do to me " perhaps if you had raised your son right and with respect he wouldn't have ended up here ma'am " he has the audacity to look appalled.

I always felt sorry for Vince's dad, he is a quiet and decent guy who is ruled by his mate and she is the sole reason he is the way he is.
