Perhaps I should go on a vacation on the earth side and spend that time here to re-establish order and truly get things back on track before all my plans go up in flames, I can not afford to keep losing my people like this, they’re so damn reckless, if they get caught and the Royals get wind of this then they will know we’re on the move again and will start trying to find out about us  before we even have the chance to rise we will be uprooted and buried, I can not let that happen, I will need to find some excuse as to not bring Astrid with me and take some time here.

I get up from my throne and walk out the door, heading to my chambers “Simon, I am going to return to the earth, I will return in a few days, I must make up a plan and excuse to go on vacation without Astrid and spend some time here, things are getting a bit out of hand”

“Am excellent choice my liege, how many days will you be away for?”

“Mmm, Four days at most, then when I am back prepare to do some inspection around the territory with me, we need to ensure no one else has done anything like this behind our backs again or any gateways open so others can stumble into our domain, our dimension must remain hidden until it is time for our attack”

“Ahh also, was Cass being truthful when she said they managed to catch Three Rogues?”

“Yes Sire she was”

“Have they been turned as yet?”

“Not yet sire”

“Good, do not do anything to them until I return, keep the as is, I have something I need to find out from them when I get back”

“Yes sire I will let them know to hold off on the conversion until you’re through with them, have safe travels and see you upon your return”

“Watch over things till I get back”

I step through the gateway and close the door, I leave my bedroom and lock the door before heading to find Astrid, I knock on her room door and enter, the room is in a mess and she’s running back and forth between the closet and Three suitcases opened on the bed.

“Oh good morning Noah, I was knocking on your door earlier but I guess you where still asleep, I got summoned back to my pack by our Elders so I’m afraid I must go right away, I hope you’re not mad”

I walk over to her feigning concern “is everything alright?” “I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about, though I can’t say how soon I’d be back if I do get to come back at all that is, I have told you about my possible engagement”

“Ah yes you certainly have, do you think it’d happen this time around?”

“Not sure but I am hopeful, if I do get through with it I will let you know kay?”

I nod “okay, well let me not get in your way, when you’re done let me know and I’d take you to the airport”

She stands on her tip toes and put her arms around my neck and pulls me into a kiss “aren’t you afraid he’d smell another man on you” “mm not in the least bit, how about a quickie before I go”
