I sit down clutching the bottle of pain killers, I am so damn angry that I just don’t know what to do with myself, that damn she wolf has messed not only with my son but also with me and my once happy life.

I now have to sleep away from mate, he won’t look at me or even touch me until I apologize, he’s even reduced my spending money but thankfully he still has some consideration because others may have cut it off altogether to spite me and make me give in but I will never apologize, I have done nothing wrong, I raised my son well and took control of the household as the woman of the house, now Steven has taken the account books from me, his cards and even changed the code on the safe so I can’t go in as I please anymore and take money when I want to, it’s so damn infuriating that I Vinnia Tomas have been reduced to this because of a few words from a mere pup!

I will get her for this, it doesn’t matter how long it takes me I will make that little b*tch suffer for this, mark my words!

I shove him off and he falls back coughing and holding is throat “bring Cass to me right now!” he scampers away without looking back, I sit on my throne ad bang my hand on the handle in frustration, it seems I have been too easy going on them that they now feel they can do as they like.

After a few minutes I can hear hurried footsteps approaching the throne room, I tap my fingers impatiently as I wait for them to enter, Cass bursts through the door first and drops to her knees before me.

“Look upon me Cass” she looks up clearly afraid.

“What is it that I’ve heard that Melina got captured hmm” her eyes widen and she looks around the room, she didn’t know “m-my King Melina, caught? When by whom? She is one of our strongest and wisest there is no way sh-” “SILENCE! I am not asking you a question right now Cass, I am telling you that Melina got caught, by whom is yet to be found out but she was most certainly caught”

“Now let us get down to the meat of the matter, perhaps it is my fault for showing so much favour to you that you felt as though you can do as you please with my people” “I would never my Lord!”

“Yet here you are interrupting me while I’m speaking” she shrinks back and bows her head “my apologies sire”

“What on earth would possess you and make you think it would be okay to open a gateway in the woods on your own and unauthorized Cass?” “I-I-I simply wanted to be useful to you Lord Umi”

“Useful how Cass? Your usefulness has costed me Melina, she is one of our strongest fighter as you have said yourself moments ago, how will you make up for this Cass?”

“Our attempt at being helpful was not totally in vain sire, we were able to catch Three Rogues to add to our cause” I look at her “Three?” “yes Sire, Three the others managed to escape and Melina left to hunt them down but I never imagined she would get caught, please let me go and find her, I am certain I can track her”

“You will do no such thing, I command you to go and bring the other girls back as well as my Lanterns! I should have you and all of them flogged for doing things on your own without any direct order from me! Get out of my sight this instant, after you get the others back, ensure you close that gateway and you will be confined to your quarters for a month, this c*ck you are so desperate for will be out of reach to you for the time being’’

She crawls forward on hands and knees “ I AM SORRY LORD UMI, PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT CONFINE ME,  WILL GO MAD!” “good, then be mad! Leave! Before I have you dragged out of here”

“Please my King reconsider please for old times sake!” “ it is because of old time sake that your head remains on your body Cass, take her out of my sight and see to it that she does as she’s told! As for the others whip them, thirty lashes each!” “yes sir”

She’s dragged away kicking and shouting my name, now is not the time to have inner turmoil in my domain, I have been spending too much time on the land it would seem, so things have gotten out of order here.
