Roho

My Three days are finally done, not that I minded really but what it means is I am behind to sign up for the training, so as soon as I'm sure the Beta's office is open.

*knock knock* "come in" I push the door open "oh hi Roro, out on bail now are we, what can I do for you?"

"Hello Beta Trevor, I am here to sign up for the training at the Royal City" "I know you'd sign up dear, your name is the very first on my list, but please go and see Teejan and you can both discuss what is ahead to be done okay?" "yes sir" I bow and leave his office heading straight to Alpha Teejan.

"Come in Roho don't bother knocking and please stop hovering" I push the door open "good morning Alpha, Luna and Father?"

"Sit down Roho" I sit between my father and the Luna feeling as though I'm at a parent teacher conference and I'm being tattled on by the principal "now that she's here, let's begin, now we all know that Roro is a very very naughty child who get's into trouble a lot but she is one of our very best warriors and healers in the pack, now Roro the three of us are gathered here because we want to be sure, you're sure about volunteering to go to the Royal City, it will be a whole other ball game child"

"I appreciate your collective concerns but yes I am certain, why wouldn't I go?" Luna Bea interjects "it's just that we're worried for you dear, we here at the pack know how strong and resilient you are but others would not and may even try to tease you and hurt your feelings which we obviously do not want so we just want to be sure you're prepared to possibly endure others mocking you"

"You're afraid I'd hurt people aren't you?" Alpha Teejan laughs "course not, we just don't want you to get hurt, we know very well your character Roho and you will never draw first blood, it is you we are worried for but if you're certain we will not stop you"

"Azelia" I look to my dad "I have never stood in your way when you wanted to do or achieve something before and I don't intend to do that now but please promise me you will be careful and take care of yourself, I have already lost your mother and you're all I have left of her, when you are here I can see physically how you are but you'd be out there and away from my eyes, do your best as always but be careful for me okay?"

"Yes Father" he pats my hand then rises from his seat "I am off now Alpha, I have to get to my morning session if that's alright sire" "yes go ahead" " I'm off too honey, see you later" she gives him a quick kiss then heads out after my father.

"Okay now that they've gone, let's get down to serious business, is that thing still alive?" "of course she is" I decided I will phone the King the day before your departure to the Royal City and explain the situation to him, travel with the creature and turn it over to the King, no one else okay?"

"Yes Alpha"

"You have Three days left to prepare yourself for your departure, everyone will travel in batches, I have put you in the Second batch to travel with Joao and Ivo, Beau wanted to go as well but we can't have both the Alpha and Beta to be out of pack at the same time"

"Why not?" "what do you mean?" "I mean isn't it better to have them both go through the training so we can say for certain yes both leaders in the pack have received elite training in the Royal City, and battle wise it'd be much easier for them to watch each others back knowing what techniques they both learned and mastered rather than having Beau be a handicap or disadvantage, if you get what I mean"

"Fair point Roro, fair point, so then that will bump our volunteer list up to Sixty Six" "which will give us Twenty Two Royal Guards who hopefully trains with the remaining warriors so they can pick up a skill or two"

The Alpha Chuckles "okay Ro, head on out and do not get into anymore fights or I will keep you here with me"

I hurry out my seat and head to the door "yes sir! I will behave" "by the way, why did your father call you that name?" "Azelia? it was the name my mother chose for me but was robbed from me by Nika" "you know, I'm sorry to say this but your father is not much different to Steven" " I know, they irony huh, I truly hope I never meet my mate" "how can you say something like that Roho?"
