We get back to the tree line where I shifted and left my clothes earlier, I pick them up and shift, the Lycan has his back turned to me “I’m dressed” we walk out of the tree line and I stop when I hear laughter and see a she wolf walking with my mate and she’s engrossed in whatever he’s telling her and laughing and so is he.

Our eyes meet for a brief moment and he looks at Tyler then me and back to the she wolf and they carry on, I look up and the Lycan is watching me as though asking what was that about “I don’t think he wants me, thank you for coming to save me, I’m going to go now” I try my best not to cry.

When I look back the Lycan is gone, I do hate to refer to him this way but I was never told his name, I’m not sure if anyone knows his Lycans name, another keep sake for his mate I guess, mate I sigh and walk into my room, I strip down and take a shower washing myself from head to toe paying extra care to my p*ssy, I also have to delete all my texts, pictures and everything about Noah, I need Carson to know I am serious about him about us.

I dry off and get dressed opting for a short floral dress with an off shoulder and sandals, I apply some moisturizer to my hair and a bit of lip gloss to my lips and head for the dining area to have something to eat.

I walk into the dining hall and there are quite a few people here, that shewolf from earlier is sitting to the far end with two guys talking between themselves, I had hope that Carson would be here so I could make him see how beautiful I really am, I dish myself some of the food and find a table to sit at and eat.

I look up when I feel someone approach me, a shewolf looking friendly “hi, mind if I sit here?” I was about to tell her it’s fine to join me when Carsons scent wafted off her to my nose and I begin to tremble and seethe in anger and jealousy “oh my gosh are you okay?” she leans closer to me clearly concerned.

“I’m fine!” I bark not able to contain my anger, others turn to look at me but at this point I do not care, I grab her hand and pull her close so I can talk in her ear “do you care to tell me, why the fk you have the scent of my mate on you?”

She pulls away clearly caught off guard “C-Carson has a mate? I I I had no idea, I’m so sorry I’ll leave you alone” “where is he?” I know full well I have no right to be angry after the things I’ve done and the life I was prepared to live but I can’t help myself, he’s MINE!

Still holding onto her hand I ask again “where is he?” “i-in his living quarters” “and where is that exactly?” she looks baffled and pulls away “how can you be his mate and not know where he lives?” “we just met each other today, not that I owe you an explanation” “oh” “she tells me where his room is and I make a beeline for it leaving many eyes and curious stares behind me.

At this point I do not give a shit, I find the room and I know t’s his and he’s inside judging from how strong his scent is, it’s only his scent I smell when I open the door and let myself in and close the door behind me, my heart stops when I hear moaning sounds coming from what I guess is the bathroom.

Did he really find someone to fk?!
