Willa's POV
"The cursed wolf!" Someone shouted and I closed my eyes in frustration.
Alpha Kirsch left me on the playfield to wait for assemble before he dashed off to his office. There were people gathering already, and I was wandering on the outside of the circle when I heard this shot.
I was used to this kind of accusation by now. People assume it just because we were wolfless ones. So long as Alpha Kirsch didn't believe it I would be fine.
Just annoyed.
I took a deep breath before I turned and headed toward to source of the voice. They froze right where they were, staring at me in horror.
"Well, go on?" I shrugged impatiently, "Tell me your curse story then?"
