CHAPTER 05 ~ MISUNDERSTANDING

"Fine but after signing, can I go and see my daughter?" Keith agreed doesn't understand what she is playing at.

"No problem but be here on time. I don't tolerate inpuntuality." Keith said and Julie signed the papers and flew as fast as she can but before she would exit the building Kieth's secretary stopped her and asked her few details to transfer the money.

The money was transferred before she would even exit the building and Julie got tears on her eyes that now all her problems are solved. To Safeguard her daughter's safety Julie flew to a trusted friend unaware of Keith sending his men behind to see what kind of work she has that she went in urgently and that if she really have a daughter and his men had sent a wrong information.

Julie went to meet her best friend, John, a recent divorcee. Keith's bodyguard started working towards the house to see what is Julie doing to record it and sent it to his boss when he overheard a guy saying Julie was in relationship with John even when he was already married and that was the reason he got divorced.

Keith heard everything an was angered to be fooled like that. If she had agreed to the truth then he would have sent the same amount of money before he needed her help now. But he decided to keep quiet and make use of her acting skills when its needed and asked his bodyguard to return when he got a picture of the guy kissing Julie good bye after hugging her after his house.

John was actually kissing Julie on the cheek but in the photo it felt like they are kissing each other.

"She is worst than a whore but speaking like a saint." Keith said gritting his teeth in anger as someone walked through the door and hugged him.

"Hey, keithh." a girl said while Kieth pretend to be smiling.

"Hi, Gefany." Keith smiled as he glared over at the ring on his finger. The perfect son is engaged to the perfect daughter of his father's friend and he is really happy with this especially after knowing what he did that night doesn't have any consequences.

"Will you get the deal? he is the most dangerous guy." gefany asked while Keith smirked.

"Do you know Kenny?"

"Your best friend?"

"No the one who became a underworld Don in few years?" she was shocked to hear his name as he is the most feared man in NYC.

"Yeah but why are we talking about him?"

"You didn't hire him or something right? it's dangerous. At least this Italian guy is not that much dangerous but Kenny is not a good news for anyone and we will never allow you to go along with such type of men." Kieth felt an unknown emotion building up but masking it he said, "First of all mom, dad knock before you enter my room."

"You didn't say that to me?" Gefany asked with a shy smile while his parents gave him a teasing smile but giving that he gave them a information that took down their smile.

"Apparently I got a news that Kenny and his fiancee are going to meet this guy and Kenny will finish him off before he gets to us but we are going to LA on vacation and we don't have to worry but I need to attend the meeting anyway as we are supposed to go."

"No Keith not happening we won't risk your life like that. Anyway Kenny will finish our job. why don't you and her go somewhere peacefully and enjoy."

"It will raise doubts. People will say I hired Kenny to kill him which will make me visible to Kenny and may create unnecessary problems for us. nothing will happen to me." Keith's parents are unsure but they trusted their son as his calculations never went off.

As his parents and Gefany went out Keith threw away the coat she was holding in disgust.

"Gefany is good for me. I may not love her but she will make the best wife and daughter in law of Anderson family. I need to try loving her." he said and gazed over his purse which fell out of his coat and is opened and it had a tiny size photo of Julie inside it. He turned his face and took a deep breath.

"Why did you return, Julie? when everything almost perfect. And what have you become or were you always like this and I mistook you as a sweet innocent girl who I wronged? I only wanted to make sure you are healed from the pain I caused but have you ever been in pain to began with?"
