Damon's POV

He looked at me confused but then he chuckled.

'What do you mean by he is still alive? We checked his body first. We even buried his body ourselves. How is he now miraculously alive? Damon are you that anxious?' He asked.

I stared af him and sighed. I knew it would be very hard for him to believe.

'Dad, the body we saw there was a duplicate. Jake is not dead. I'm sure of it.' I said.

'Why do you say so?' He asked.

I explained everything that happened yesterday to him, from the DNA test I conducted to the kidnapping of Sophie.

'You mean Sophie was kidnapped?' He asked suddenly alarmed.

'Yes. I think she found out about Jake that's why she was kidnapped.' I said.

'This is bad. This is really bad. Does Coralline know about all these?' He asked.

'No she doesn't. I didn't want to endanger her.' I said.

'Good. It's better if she's left in the dark.' He said.

'Yes. Dad, do you think Monica may be involved with her father?' I asked.

'What do you mean?' He asked back.

'Her father's
