Beta Xavier, Alpha Phaedro's beta was pacing round the Alpha's study, he obviously looked, tapping his feet continually on the hard wooden floor.

The door was opened and Alpha Phaedro entered.

He was surprised to found his Beta waiting for him.

"What are you doing here?" Alpha Phaedro asked, sternly glaring at him before removing his coat.

"Alpha Phaedro, is it true?" Beta Xavier asked.

"What truth?" Phaedro asked back.

"Gosh!" Xavier exclaimed folding his hand.

"That you hired someone to spy on the new Luna of Red claw's pack?" He asked.

Alpha Phaedro clapped his hands together, before adjusting his seat.

"Yes, I did, so what?" Phaedro rudely questioned.

"You know we cannot do that! We don't have the permission for any of our pack members to be at Red claws pack, it's a law! Let alone be a spy. Alpha Phaedro, this is wrong, we are making a great mistake." Beta Xavier ranted.

"Luna Nadia, she is not pregnant, the doctor confirmed that." Alpha Phaedro said, looking hurt.

"I'm sorry for that, but with time she will get pregnant again, but what has this got to do with sending a spy to Red claw's pack?" Xavier inquired.

Alpha Phaedro's eyes were filled with fury.

"Because I had sent messages to all packs in search for Emaline so they never give her place to stay, Red Claw's is the only pack I haven't reached out too and then boom, the Alpha found his mate and made her his Luna, I'm feeling like Emaline was his new-found mate, then changed her name to Xenia, so I won't be able to trace her and that's why all the newspaper that had anything to do with her didn't contain her picture." Alpha Phaedro stated.

Beta Xavier was shocked that he chuckled.

"A great Alpha like you shouldn't be saying this. I mean I don't see any connection of what you are saying to the new Luna of Red claw's pack. You are just inviting trouble to our pack, that's so much risk, you know Alpha Maxwell." His Beta protested, he looked pissed and annoyed.

"I will not rest until I find if Emaline is alive or not, and if she is alive, I will have to kill her, do you know how painful it was when the doctor confirmed Nadia wasn't pregnant! In fact she was getting her period which means she isn't close to getting pregnant! All because of Emaline!" Alpha Phaedro thundered his eyes firing at Beta Xavier.

"I'm sorry you had to go through all of that, but that was fate." Xavier said calmly.

"Fate! Damn the fate!" Alpha Phaedro and hit the table smashing it to pieces.

"If you don't want me to get on my bad side, leave." He ordered.

"But your highness, it's wrong, I cannot…"

"I said, leave, Xavier!" Alpha Phaedro shouted.

"My apologies." Xavier said and took a bow before nodding his head, everything going on is not right, from Emaline's prosecution, and now sending a spy is a whole next level, but what can he do. He quietly opened the door and exit the study room, while Alpha Phaedro was breathing heavily with rage.

The sun start to set, giving a warm glow over the gathering. The Alpha's meeting brought together strong leaders from different packs. The venue, a gigantic hall, adorned with colorful flowers and pedestals, excitement echoed through every corner of the hall as the Alphas arrived, their power and strength clear.

The Alpha's greeter each other and took a seat, then an arrival got all of their attention, as this had never happened before in the history of their meetings.

Xenia, with her shoulders broad wide with confidence walked with grace, with Beta Dimitri by her side and Roselyn behind her, she looked breathtaking, her Royal dress giving justice to her beautiful figure. Her face glow like a radiant morning sun and her smile lit up the hall and her presence drew gazes of the Alpha's, wondering what a woman is doing in an all Alpha's meeting.

As the gazes were much and Xenia was approaching them, a feeling of panic rush inside her, the place is screaming strength, power and leadership, but she never had an experience with any.

Beta Dimitri noticed her fall out reaction, and he came closer to her.

"Alpha Maxwell asked you to represent him because he knew you can do it, remember his words and don't let their gazes make you anxious or nervous. You can do this, your highness." He whispered.

His words brought some level of courage to her, and she took a deep breath, closed her eyes and opened them, ready to make her Alpha proud

Xenia finally arrived and also took her seat, which was meant for the Alpha of Red Claw's pack, knowing his might and power, they gasped.

"Greetings everyone." Xenia greeted with a bow.

They glanced at each other, then back to Xenia.

"I know you all must be wondering who am I or what am I doing here, well, I will first start by apologizing to you all as unfortunately, my Alpha, Alpha Maxwell couldn't make it to the meeting due to an accident that happened. Knowing the importance of this meeting, he chose me to represent him. I'm Luna Xenia, Alpha Maxwell's Luna." Xenia exclaimed.

"Wow, she is Luna Xenia, she is so beautiful."

"She is the Sword of power holder, beautiful indeed."

"I love her confidence, her voice speaks bravery."

These and many other murmurings were made by the Alpha's.

"Shall we start the meeting?" An Alpha asked.

"Why not, if Alpha Maxwell himself will believe that his Luna can be a better representative, then who are we to repute his decision? The meeting can start." Another Alpha answered and the rest of the Alpha's agreed.

The meeting began and the Alpha's starts to give their presentations and talked about their pack and their advancement in life, technology, and farming.

It was time for Xenia to give her speech and when she stood up, everyone clapped, even though her presence was new, but she was warmly welcomed, and she never expected that.

As she set to speak, the spy from Alpha Phaedro's pack came out of his hiding spot, he was surprised to see the murderer of Alpha Phaedro's heir.

"Emaline!" He muttered and grinned, then took his paper and start to make a portrait of Xenia.
