*Silver Glow pack*

"Make sure the Nadia never lacks anything. Her food should always be ready before she wakes up from sleep and so her bath." Alpha Phaedro commanded, checking through a checklist.

"Yes, Your Majesty." The maids bowed.

"And yes, her wardrobe renewal should be done weekly, make sure she never lacks anything." He said again and they bowed again.

After the hospital Incident and confirming Nadia wasn't pregnant, she had been down and refused to talk to anyone, and that hurts Alpha Phaedro, seeing his precious Luna sad, all because of Emaline. His level of hatred for her increased and he wished he had given her more Siever punishment than the one he gave to her. Maybe kill her and feed her body to the snakes.

"Your Highness!" Beta Xavier appeared out of nowhere, Amid the commands, he was panting heavily.

"Xavier! When will you finally learn the manners of knocking before entering my Chamber!" Alpha Phaedro thundered.

"I'm...I'm sorry, your Highness I'm confused. I will go ahead and knock if you want me to." Beta Xavier replied.

Alpha Phaedro looked at him, massaging his temple majestically.

"Instead of doing that, why don't you just tell me why you rudely interrupted my meeting session with the maids?" Alpha Phaedro said and arched his brows.

Xavier exhaled deeply.

"Alpha Maxwell discovered the spy, and he had sent a message to you." Beta Xavier said.

"What!" Alpha Phaedro gasped and quickly made his way out while Xavier followed suit.

Alpha Phaedro was shocked to see the spy's lifeless body on the ground, while people gathered to watch.

"Tell everyone to get lost." Alpha Phaedro ordered and Beta Xavier executed the order.

Phaedro was tensed, he knew the consequences of crossing Alpha Maxwell's territory.

They both were great Alphas with the combination of wealth, power, and leadership, which made them great enemies.

Phaedro bent closer and he got a paper from the spy's shirt and unfolded it.

"Wait for my comeback, Alpha Phaedro. You made a huge mistake, trust me." Alpha Phaedro read aloud and Beta Xavier was frightened.

"I told you it was a bad idea to send a spy to Red Claw's pack. I'm sure Alpha Maxwell is finding a way to reiterate and it won't be fun for either you or the members of our pack." Beta Xavier said.

Alpha Phaedro moved back, his eyes fixed on the spy.

"I don't care, and you know what's more annoying? It's not the fact that the spy was caught and killed, it was the fact that I wasn't able to get Luna's picture." Alpha Phaedro reinstated.

Xavier was shocked. He thought the condition on the ground would make Alpha Phaedro give up on the search for Luna Xenia's face but he didn't seem to be shaken a bit.

"Are you serious right now, Alpha? With all due respect, finding out the picture of Luna Xenia shouldn't be our problem right now, our problem should be finding a way to tackle the problem you just thrown us into." Beta Xavier half yelled.

"Seems that you are finally forgetting your place, beta Xavier." Alpha Phaedro said, pointing his finger at his chest.

"You are the beta, I am the Alpha, and you have no right to question my decision, no matter what! And if you keep pushing hard, then I will forget the friendship between us and deal with you." Alpha Phaedro spat.

Xavier was hurt, but there was nothing he could do. Alpha Phaedro was right, he was just a beta.

"I'm sorry, you are right. I was only looking out for the future of our pack." Beta Xavier said.

Alpha Phaedro moved back with a stern expression.

"I'm pretty sure the only reason why Alpha Maxwell refused to let the world know about the face of his new Luna was because Xenia is Emaline, and he knew she was from my territory, he will use her to get to me." He stated, squinting his eyes.

"What should we do with his corpse?" Beta Xavier asked, ignoring what Alpha had just said.

"Feed them to the snakes. He was a loser for failing a small mission and landing my pack in trouble. And I need you to communicate with the Gamma and increase the security of the main gate. No one that doesn't belong to this pack should be let in the palace." Alpha Phaedro ordered, folding his hands behind him.

"Your wish is my command, Alpha Phaedro." Beta Xavier replied, bowed, and marched out of the place, after instructing the guards to do away with the spy's corpse.

"Wherever you are, Emaline, I will find you, and give you the punishment you best deserved." Alpha Phaedro vowed firmly before returning inside the palace.

*Red Claw's pack*

Alpha Maxwell had called beta Dimitri to his study room, even though the doctor had advised him not to get out of bed, he couldn't just rest considering the condition he saw Xenia in.

Beta Dimitri arrived.

"You called for me, your highness?" He asked.

"Yes, Dimitri, please have a seat," Maxwell answered and sat down slowly, supporting his injured hand.

Beta Dimitri obeyed and sat down.

"You saw my Xenia, right?" Alpha Maxwell asked.

"Yes, I did." Beta Dimitri answered.

"And what condition did you see her in?" Alpha Maxwell Questioned.

"She was scared, really scared. It must have been a traumatic experience for her." Beta Dimitri retorted.

Alpha Maxwell nodded his head, convinced will Dimitri's answer.

"And what do you think we should do to Alpha Phaedro that will put him in the same state of freight he put my Luna in when the spy was caught?" Alpha Maxwell exclaimed.

"I really don't have any idea, your highness. But he deserves the worst punishment that will teach him a lesson." Beta Dimitri stated.

"What's the popular place in his pack?" Alpha Maxwell asked.

"There is this market called the Glow market, lots of people gather there every day." Beta Dimitri answered.

Alpha Maxwell's lips curved in a smile.

"Great, I want you and the soldiers to attack the market. Kill as much as you can and leave a letter to him." Alpha Maxwell ordered, his eyes narrowed slightly and his eyes blazing with a fierce intensity.
