Chapter 9 – I AM FALLING IN LOVE WITH SHAYNE.

Dexter reach the hut, he sit down in the chair near the window. He hopes those people who are looking for him, may pass again near the hut, as what have happened in the past day. He can now shout louder than before to them and he can even walk towards them, even he is not totally recovered his strength

                After an hour of more Shayne, come back, she is so fresh and her hair lay down at her back, wet.

                She is wearing light green blouse and dark blue skirt. It makes her a fine woman.

                It makes her an adorably attractive woman with pure feminine looks.

                It makes her very attractive to the eyes of any man

                It makes her very beautiful and adorable in the eyes of Dexter.

Dexter cannot help himself but to focus his eyes to the wonderful beauty he has found here in the forest. Formerly, he wants, that his companions may find him, and bring him home, by this time, he does not want it anymore. He wants to stay a little longer her in the forest. Dexter heart and mind was filled with some sort of satisfaction and pleasure staying in the hut. Why not? It is a great blessing to be with a beautiful and kind lady like Shayne. He will not get bored here, never. A beautiful woman is always the pitfall of every man.

                “Why you are starring at me” Shayne asked him

                “Because you are very beautiful now”

                “I have been beautiful everyday” she smiles at Dexter.

                “ It is the reason, why  I am falling in love with you”

                “ So easy to say, but it is hard to prove, know me well first before you say that”

                “ Is it ok for you if I stay here  for ever to prove my love to you?”

                “It is up to you, you are the master of yourself”

Shayne come inside the hut; he mends something in the kitchen. She is so busy, after a while, she come upstairs and hand something to Dexter.

                “What is this” he asked.

                “I presume, it would be good for you if you will take a bath and change clothes”

He examined what she handed to him, they are t-shirt, short and under wear. Possibly Shayne can no longer bear his  body odor, sure, he needs to wash his body and feel fresh.

                “Can you accompany me, in the falls?” jokingly Dexter told to Shayne

                “No, I am not, I have seen you can do it on your own, it is not far”

He feels it is only right, he do it on his own, it would be too much asking her to come with him. He is not a child. Dexter stand up and walk towards the falls, when Shayne called him back.

                “Why, are you coming with me?”

                “You bastard. I will only give you the bath soap”

Shayne is getting more beautiful when she is getting annoyed. He enjoys the looks of her.

He proceeded going to north, where the water falls and the river is located. It is true, it is not far.

Possibly, it is here, Shayne gets the drinking water, they are using, the sight of the place is very refreshing.

The fall is not too high, it is covered by the shade of the trees, and the water is flowing freely in a small river going down the mountain. It is a wonderful sight, a wonderful works of the hands of nature. He started removing his dress, all of them, if Shayne comes, and watch him while he is taking a bath, he will give her, the pleasure to watch him, fully naked. He laughs himself in this wild thought. Does Shayne, with her innocent looks and demurred attitude would do his wild fantasy?

                Dexter enjoys the refreshing cool water from the falls. He reached the place where it is actually falling. He gets the soap, and cleans his whole body thoroughly. He has not taken a bath for several days, as well, he has not changed his cloths.   After taking a bath he washes his dirty cloths, it is very dirty, then he come back to the cottage, he hangs his wet clothes in the branches of dead tree near the cottage. It will dry there soon. The cool water has given him rejuvenating feeling.

                When Dexter inters the hut, he sees that their lunch is ready, Shayne has prepared it. He almost got a beautiful maid, who attends his every need in this place. He told himself, he is very lucky to be lost and left in this place. If the time will come back, and someone will ask him, what he want, to go home or be left here in the forest, he will again choose the later. If it does not happen, he will not meet Shayne, the love of his life.

                Shayne calls him when he enters the hut.

                “Come in, lets eat” She sitting in the bench down the kitchen.

He got a wonderful feeling, a beautiful lady, is waiting him, so that they can eat together. His wild thoughts feeding him the idea, that this situation may last long, that they may become lovers, and would make every moment of their life more meaningful. How he can tell his heart not love Shayne, if every time, he can see her around, making him happy and contented, forgetting everything back home.

                “You have no responsibility to wait for me” he told her.

                “I only presumed, you will appreciate it, if we eat together, Next time I will not wait”

                “No, you get me wrong, what I am thinking, you may be hungry and you wait for me”

Shayne smile at him, a very sweet smile, he has seen to her before. It makes him relax.

While they are eating, they continue their conversation, it makes them close to each other.

                “What are you doing then back home” Shayne asked him.

                “I am working as a teller in a bank” his short answer.

                “Do you have girlfriend, then” a personal question, he didn’t expect.

                “I know nothing”

He says it because he actually forgets everything. He forgets that he is about to get married with Annie, and the preparation for their marriages is in full swing, when he joined the hunting party, and was get lost in the forest. Something strange has happened to him.

                “What I can honestly tell you now, I am falling in love with you”

                “You are that again, will you please stop it”

                “Ok, but please believe me and give chance to prove you my intention”

                “You must know me first before you continue your foolishness”

                “So, let me be here a little longer until I may know you well’

                “As I have told you, it is up to you”

The whole day does not become boring for the two of them, they go around, collecting more fruits in the forest, enjoy the wonderful views the place can offer. Dexter did not feel that Shayne is getting aloft to him, she is still the same, cheerful and alive. He always smells the natural feminine scent of Shayne, every time, she comes closer to him. The sun set comes and they return to the hut, before darkness covers the horizon.
