I didn’t wait for the rain to stop nor did I wait for him to come back.

Sinulong ko ang malakas na buhos ng ulan nang walang kahit anong pansilong, patungo sa kabilang direksyon, kung saan hindi ko ito makakasalubong, kung saan makakatakas ako nang matagumpay.

But when I arrived at the shed outside the school, I only stood there helplessly, unknowing of what to do next. Where should I go now? Hindi ko pwedeng puntahan ang mga kaibigan ko nang ganito ang ayos. If I stand here longer, wait for the rain to stop or let myself dry from the wind, would he come finding me here through this rain?

Or if I go home now, would he be the one I’ll find at my door, waiting for me?

Despite knowing the possibility of that happening, pumara pa rin ako ng taxi, I still decided to go home. If i don’t see him there, better. And if I do, I’ll just do what I have been always good at－running away.
