Chapter Thirteen

Well, it seems like I made two friends today. Upon opening the door I was greeted with a mouth-watery aroma. I all but ran into the kitchen which made Evan turn in surprise. I was about to greet him but my stomach beat me to it, rumbling in hunger since I hadn't had anything to eat since this morning. The kitchen island was used as a makeshift dining table with deer chili, garlic rolls with a gooey cheddar center, and Fritos; a carb-tasty meal. I dragged out a stool as my belly rumbled again in another growl of its own.

" Someone looks famished," he said laughing at me but I didn't answer him instead I heaped the plate to the extent that the food where falling from the plate.

"Easy there" he teased. I dug into the food ignoring him as he kept teasing me. He said something like my eating habits were unladylike.

" Just because we are werewolves doesn't mean we don't have manners, girl "he had said.

I had gotten to half of my plate when there was a knock on the door.
