Chapter 7

Xander's POV:

"What's that jasmine smell?" I growled aloud, as I felt drawn to this intoxicating scent.

Johnny perceived her scent. It was intoxicating and very addictive, so Johnny took charge of my body before I could react.

"Mate!" he growled in my head, and I hated that my wolf was the opposite of me.

I recalled that I was wearing the emerald bracelet that Bailey had given me, and it glowed greener on my right hand.

"Damn it!" Even in my wolf form, Johnny was massive. He ran as fast as a deer in search of his mate.

When we arrived at the spot, I was shocked to see Aurora hiding behind the grape tree. It was my favorite tree. What the hell is she doing here? I pondered, as my brows furrowed.

Annoyed, I shifted back to my human self. Thankfully, I was wearing my black boxers, as I wouldn't be comfortable letting my girlfriend's sister see me náked.

"Come out from behind the tree," I ordered Aurora, seeing her trying to shield her body with the white dress she held.

She was stark nàked, and I wasn't supposed to look at her, but my eyes betrayed me as I glanced at her small body.

She was short, not reaching my chest. I towered above her as she came out from behind the tree, trembling, with the moonlight bathing us.

"What are you doing outside at this time of night and nàked?" I asked her, disappointed to see her there. I recalled that I hadn't seen her at my birthday party, and Quincy had reported to me that Aurora had stolen her earrings, the ones I personally bought for her.

I was supposed to search for my mate, but I was disappointed to see Aurora here at this time of night.

Wait, I hope she isn't my mate. Because I cannot have a small woman like her as my Luna. My brows furrowed deeply as she lowered her head and tried to lie to me.

I know a lie when I hear one.

"I came out to see the woods," she lied, her voice smooth against my eardrums.

"Raise your head when I ask you a question. Why are you outside here alone? And in this part of the woods? Do you forget that you're wolfless and could get eaten by a wild animal?" I asked her coldly, and she flinched as she raised her head and peered at my face.

I didn't usually waste my time looking at Aurora. I couldn't bring myself to look at her. It would feel like child abuse to gawk at her small frame, because she looked like a girl, but she lied to me again.

"I can protect myself."

"Hahaha!" I laughed, because I knew that Beta Adrian didn't allow Aurora out of the house, as he was scared she could be attacked by stronger wolves.

"How can you protect yourself?" I asked her, taking a step closer to her. Even as she covered her nákedness, I wasn't concerned about that. Besides, I wouldn't be aroused by seeing her small body. But I was wrong.

The moment I stepped closer and grabbed her arm, I regretted it, because I perceived more of that jasmine scent I longed to smell.

"Mate!" Johnny growled in my head, and my eyes widened in shock when I looked into Aurora's blue eyes.

Her eyes were wide in horror too, as if she felt the bond.

"Damn it!" I quickly released her hand, as I couldn't believe she was my mate.

"Damn it! You're my mate!" I growled in anger at her, and she trembled and fell to the ground, clearly unable to withstand my alpha aura.

"I cannot have you as my..." I wanted to reject Aurora immediately, but I was shocked to see her body completely on the ground before me.

I was completely wrong; Aurora had bigger brẹasts than Quincy.

When she saw my eyes lingering on her body, as her hips were extremely wide, she used the white dress in her hand to shield her body from my view, and I gulped hard and glared at her.

Aurora rose to her feet and said, "Alpha Xander, it's not proper to lust after your girlfriend's sister's body."

"Shut up! Do you think I will accept you as my mate?" I growled at her, as I couldn't believe she was mine. I couldn't control myself around her, and I knew she wasn't yet 18.

"I don't want you either!" she challenged me, and I was furious to hear her say that.

It wasn't just me; Johnny was annoyed that Aurora didn't want him, but I believed she was lying.

"You're a liar. Why won't you want me?" I drew next to her, and she moved back, but before she could sprint away, I caught her arm and pulled her back to myself, so close that her heart was thudding loudly against my ears.

"Let me go! Don't you dare touch me! I reject you. I, Aurora Stanley, reject you as my," before she could finish her words, I pulled her up and sealed my lips on her mouth, cutting off her excuse.

She struggled to breathe, but I didn't let go of her. After all, she was an Omega, not a beta like Quincy, so she couldn't possibly overpower me.

Aurora struggled to break free, wrestling against my kiss. She bit my lips hard enough to draw blood when she realized I didn't want to release her.

Her lips tasted as sweet as grapefruit, but I let go of her when she bit me hard enough to draw my blood. She kneed my dìck and ran away as I released her arms, shocked that she was strong.

Was she pretending to be weak?

She quickly put on her panties and white dress and ran away. I stood watching her retreating figure and didn't chase after her. I decided to let her be for the night, as I was still shocked that she was my real mate.

But what could she do to help cure my mother?

I was aware of how badly the Stanley family treated Aurora.

Will I acknowledge the bond? I need Aurora to cure my mother's feral condition, but Aurora isn't a nurse or a doctor.

Damn it! I was furious with myself after seeing how hard my cóck was.

I needed to take a bath to calm my fụcking arousal, as my cóck was threatening to explode out of my black boxers.

Going down to the river, I took a deep breath and bathed until my arousal faded. Then I went to put on my clothes. It was the same place that Aurora had left her dress on my favorite grape tree.

I eat a lot of grapefruits, so I allowed the tree to grow, and I picked a grapefruit and ate it to distract my brain from thinking about the mate bond.

"We cannot reject Aurora!" Johnny growled in my head.

"I know," I replied calmly. "But I cannot reject Quincy either. So you have to deal with it; I cannot have that small woman as my mate. She is too small and cannot withstand our rut. She could die in bed if that happens."

"You cannot cheat on her with Quincy. You need to break up with Quincy!" Johnny growled, but I ignored him and went back home.
