In the Autumn Pack, it was 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening when I finished my afternoon shift as a waitress at a high-end restaurant. I returned home to the magnificent white house and made my way to my room on the first floor to rest, as the rest of my siblings used the top-floor rooms alongside my parents. Just then, I heard my older sister, Quincy, call my name loudly, "Aurora!" "Yes, sister," I replied. As I was preparing to bathe and change out of my blue dress, I rushed out of the room to meet her. My sister stood there, towering above me. I didn't even reach her shoulder. I was like the rejected daughter in my family. My two siblings were Beta wolves, and I was born an Omega. Because of this, my entire family looked down on me. "Where are the jade earrings I kept in my locker in my room? Did you steal them?" Quincy asked, her eyes glaring daggers at me. Quincy was more favored by our parents. They believed she would become Alpha Xander's mate. After all, she was 20 years old, and I was 17. "Quincy, I didn't take your jade earrings. What could I possibly use them for?" I asked, subtly annoyed because she always blamed me first. "We have two maids in this house. Why not ask them first?" I replied to Quincy bluntly, but she smacked me so hard across my left cheek that I felt my head spin, and I almost collapsed to the ground. I staggered backward, looking at her in shock. "Quincy, you slapped me?" I asked, holding my left cheek as tears brimmed in my eyes. "I will slap you again if you do not tell me where you kept my earrings. You know how much I love those jade earrings because Alpha Xander gave them to me last year on my 19th birthday. Did you steal them to wear to Alpha Xander's birthday party tonight?" She asked, her tone sharp and anger boiling in her veins. The rest of my family came downstairs into the living room. They obviously treasured Quincy, whom they believed was going to become the future Luna and bring so many blessings to them, while I was the unwanted child. "Quincy, what's going on?" Our mother, Sarah Stanley, asked as she walked into the corridor first to meet us, while my father and my older brother trailed behind her. "Mom…" Quincy broke into tears as if I had slapped her. "Mom, Aurora stole my jade earrings," she cried in our mother's arms. Our mother was an Omega by birth, but she looked down on Omegas after she married my father, the Beta of this pack. "Is that true, Aurora?" Mom asked me, her eyes shooting daggers at me. "Hand over your sister's earrings!" She stretched her right hand out for me to provide the earrings that I hadn't seen nor taken. "Mom, I didn't take Quincy's earrings. You all are accusing me wrongly. I just came back from work, and now, Quincy called me out for her earrings. When could I have possibly stolen them?" I asked my mother, who scowled. "Shut up, you thief!" Mom smacked me across my right cheek, and I staggered backward again, tears falling down my face like pearls. "Do you think I don't see how you admire those earrings on Quincy's ears? You want to steal them because you know Alpha Xander gave them to Quincy. Are you trying to steal Alpha Xander's attention by taking what belongs to your sister?" Mom demanded, her words slicing my heart. I looked at her face, speechless, and my older brother, Kaleb, a tall, 25-year-old man, walked up to me. His eyes were shooting daggers at me, too. "Where are the jade earrings, Aurora? An Omega like you shouldn't wear anything pricey. You are to work as a servant. That's what lowborns like you are born to be!" he said furiously. Dad stepped forward and looked down on me. "Aurora, not only do you not have a wolf, but you are also useless to this family. How dare you steal your sister's earrings? Guards!" He summoned his warriors, and two guards came in. "Search Aurora's room for the beautiful jade earrings," Dad stated, and the two guards swung into action to search my room. My parents didn't allow me to use the rooms on the top floor; I lived as a servant in my own father's house. I stood in the passage and watched the scene. The guards threw all my things around my room. "Dad, we will be late for Alpha Xander's 27th birthday. This is all Aurora's doing, to make us late," Quincy said, crying as our mother hugged her closely. "Don't worry. We will find those jade earrings before we leave," Mom said, her tone soft whenever she spoke to my sister. "Found them!" the guards announced. I felt dread wash down my spine as the two guards walked out of my room, and one of them handed the jade earrings to my father. "How dare you do this, Aurora?" Kaleb yelled, and he rushed to smack me to the ground. "Kaleb, it's enough. You shouldn't raise your hands on Aurora. Do not forget that she is still your sister," Dad said, despite his anger. "Dad, I reject Aurora as my sister. I cannot have a thief for a sister. Why would she steal from Quincy when she knew how special these gifts are?" Kaleb asked, his voice filled with anger. "Kaleb, as a man, it's not proper to raise your hand on a woman. Leave me to handle this," Dad dismissed my brother, before he looked at me with disappointment. "Tell me, Aurora. Why did you steal the jade earrings from Quincy's room?" Dad demanded, as I stood looking at my family with tears in my eyes. "Dad, why would I steal from Quincy? I do not know how these jade earrings went into my room. This house has surveillance cameras. Let's see who stole them and tried to frame me," I said. My father frowned, as if he had almost forgotten that the house had CCTV. "That's right, Dad. Let's see the recording. That will be enough evidence to send Aurora to jail. She keeps bringing disgrace to us," Kaleb spat. Our father frowned, as he didn't want me to go to jail. "I didn't steal the jade earrings. I deserve to see the footage," I stated, and Quincy panicked. "Dad, we are going to be late to Alpha Xander's 27th birthday party. Let's go, and when we are back, we will deal with Aurora accordingly," Quincy spoke in her sweet, soft voice. I looked at her face. *Wasn't she my older sister? Why was it a crime if I truly touched any of her things?* However, I knew I didn't take the jade earrings. Quincy was only trying to frame me. But why? I sobbed, watching them agree like a happy family. "You're right, Quincy. Let's go," our mother agreed. They were all dressed up and heading out. The clock was 8:00 p.m., and the birthday celebration would have started, as Alpha Xander wanted a late-night party. I wasn't invited, and it wasn't like I wanted to be around them or attend Alpha Xander's birthday. Before my mother walked out of the corridor, she glanced back at me and said, "Aurora, let me warn you. You shouldn't dare to leave this house or show yourself at the Alpha's mansion. Got it?" "Yes, Mom," I replied despite my brokenness, and they left the house. I heard the sound of their cars starting in the compound, while I went to my bed to sit and cry my heart out to the Moon Goddess. "Why, Moon Goddess? Why did you give me to a family that didn't want me?" I cried aloud, howling in pain until a gentle voice startled me. "It's okay, Aurora. I am here now," the lovely voice said, and I panicked as I saw a white spirit wolf appeared beside my room window.(Aurora's POV)As I stepped into the vast mansion, my mother and Kaleb sat on the couch, discussing. Their eyes widened at the sight of me."Honey, why did you bring Aurora home? Has her wound healed?" Mom asked, striding up to meet me. Since the previous night's incident, I decided to keep my distance from her.Her voice was thick with concern. Dad carefully shut the door behind him and gestured at me."Aurora insisted on coming home, and I couldn't stop her," he replied softly."What? Aurora, how can you request to come home with such an injury? Did you forget that you're wolfless? And how come you are standing on your feet and not wincing in pain like someone who got flogged? Have you found your wolf?" Mom demanded. The living room fell silent as everyone waited to hear my response to my mother. My fist clenched as I looked away and replied, "No."I caught Quincy descending the stairs into the living room. She glared at me when I arrived, but now she pretended to care."Aurora, you
(Xander's POV) "Alpha Xander, I was the one who ordered for Aurora to be discharged. She is a student and she cannot be confined to the hospital bed," Beta Adrian explained as I turned away from him to leave the room. "It's fine. I only wanted to be sure that she is okay and her wound is healing. Since you are here, I will take my leave now." I pulled the door open and stepped out. Nora stood there with her head lowered, and I wondered if she had eavesdropped. I wondered if she heard when Aurora rejected me and I refused. I didn't spare Nora a glance nor wait to caution her, as I marched away to my car. I needed to go hiking, running, or swimming to help my wolf calm my arousal, my rage, and my displeasure at Aurora rejecting me. Why hadn't I accepted her rejection? I didn't like her to begin with. I had never taken a liking to Aurora before. Why would the Moon Goddess pair me with her? Rage boiled in my veins as I swung my car door open, jumped into the driver's seat, and drove
(Xander's POV) After Quincy left the master bedroom on the top floor of the new duplex I had purchased for us, my mood plummeted. My gaze darkened because she wanted me to swear to the Moon Goddess that I would not touch Aurora. How could I be able to resist my real fated mate? My throat tightened; I pulled my trousers back on and moved out of the room to check on Aurora once more. "You're making a mistake, Xander. Remember the curse. If you crown Quincy as your Luna, she will go mad. Do you want her to suffer the same fate as your mother?" Johnny reminded me, but I couldn't respond. When I stepped downstairs, I went outside. Night had fallen, and the moon shone in the sky. I hopped into my black car and drove back to the pack's hospital to see Aurora and ask the doctor about her injury, and whether I should heal her with my power. My hands held the steering wheel firmly as I navigated toward the hospital, a magnificent two-story building. Upon my arrival, I parked my car and g
(Xander's POV) "I want you, Xander," Quincy moaned as I threw her on the bed in the master bedroom, my eyes glowing with a primal desire to claim her. I stepped back, my hands moving to take off my belt as I pulled off my shirt and stripped myself naked. Quincy came to meet me; she knelt before me and stripped off her red dress. She was left in her red bikini, looking as inviting as a desirable meal. "Alpha, may I?" Quincy asked for my permission as she peered at my face with her enchanting blue eyes. "Yeah, you can," I replied, wanting to call Aurora's name, as I could not believe I was thinking about her at this moment. Quincy knelt on my new bed; her hands worked fast as they reached for my boxers and stripped them off to release my rod. As her lips drew near to take me deep into her mouth like she always did, my mind pictured Aurora's face. I imagined it was Aurora's mouth sucking me. "Oh, babe…" I forced myself to say, as I almost moaned Aurora's name. "You're driving me i
AURORA: “What just happened?” I asked Malani in shock after my father walked out of my room. His words: “Aurora, do not get annoyed over your sister’s comment to have you banished. I will speak to all of them tomorrow morning. Goodnight.” My father left my room, gently shutting the door. I knew th

(Aurora's POV) I made my way to my room on the first floor, and I heard Lola speaking to Linda again in her mocking tone. "Wait a minute. Do not tell me that Aurora is now a priestess. Hahaha!" Lola laughed heavily, and I glanced back as I stood in the corridor that led to my room. She was holding
