Chapter 7. Bali, Sweet Honeymoon

“I want to clean myself. I'm sorry…” Clarabelle stood up and stepped into the bathroom. She felt uncomfortable with that situation. She knew very well that Jordan would be angry, but Clarabelle had her reason and she had to be firm with it.

Jordan just watched as Clarabelle disappeared behind the bathroom door. He felt a vibration from his trouser pocket. Jordan reached into his trouser pocket and pulled out the cell phone that was stored there. Ronald called.

"You bastard," Jordan cursed. How could his friend contact him at that time?

"What do you want to call me now?" A little annoyed Jordan also received Ronald's call.

“Haa…haa…” Ronald's laughter deafened Jordan's ears so he pulled the phone away.

"What are you doing? Have you had fun with your wife?!”

Jordan glared in annoyance. That fellow of Jordan liked to make emotions rise the most. He also accidentally said your wife spelled that.

“How can you have fun when a demon passes by!?” Jordan snapped. Ronald's laughter exploded again. And even more annoyingly, another laugh was heard. Apparently, Warren and Louie were with Ronald.

"How? Half-Asian women are fun in bed too?” This time it was Warren who answered.

“Find out for yourself, so you will know!” Jordan wanted to smack Warren's long face. If only they had known, this time Jordan had to hold back because his wife didn't want to be touched. It was so damn. The sweet image of spending a long night with the woman he married, it seems that he had to get rid of it first.

"Is she hot? Or did she just give up?” Louie stroked again.

"Hey, don't make me angry. Wait for me to come home, I'll collect the honeymoon ticket. Okay?"

Jordan rudely hung up the call and immediately turned off his cell phone.

Jordan threw the phone on the bed, then dropped it on his back, lying staring at the pure white ceiling. There were red roses on the bed and the fragrance wafted through Jordan's nose. Unfortunately, the sweet atmosphere was not as sweet as Jordan imagined.

“Okay, Lala… It seems I meet an innocent and old-fashioned girl. A rare creature of the century. We'll see how far your defense goes." Muttering to himself, Jordan determined to himself, he would prove the playboy nickname he had attached to it was worth it. He could conquer any kind of woman. Jordan was feeling challenged with this toy wedding!

Morning came.

Clarabelle opened her eyes, she quickly turned around and looked at the other side of the big bed where she was lying. Ah, Jordan was still sleeping soundly. The handsome man was sleeping on his back with his hands on his forehead. Clarabelle couldn't help it, Jordan's posture and looked were enchanting.

Last night after taking a shower, Clarabelle firmly said she was very tired and wanted to go to sleep. Jordan didn't argue. With a sweet smile, he agreed. Even Jordan told Clarabelle to tell him that she didn't feel comfortable with Jordan.

Clarabelle was relieved that Jordan could understand the situation. And all night, Jordan had no intention of touching Clarabelle. Both of them were asleep until the morning came back.

Just finished from the bathroom, room service came to bring a special breakfast for the newlyweds. And at the same time, there was a maroon envelope that was left by the event crew, a surprise for the bride and groom.

Clarabelle put the food on the table. Just then Jordan woke up. Seeing Clarabelle going to breakfast, Jordan quickly approached.

"Morning, Lala. You look good today. So pretty." Jordan smiled. It wasn't just a compliment to please Clarabelle. Truly, even without make-up, just woke up, Clarabelle was indeed beautiful.

"Thank you." Clarabelle also widened her smile. Husband. She had a husband who greeted her sweetly in the morning. It turned out to be fun too. Looks like it was time for Clarabelle to open up more, allowing Jordan to come closer.

Jordan sat down next to Clarabelle and took her portion of food. He saw a sweet envelope lying on the table. Jordan took it, opened its contents, then showed it to Clarabelle.

“Babe… Can you guess what is it?” Jordan looked at Clarabelle.

Clarabelle's heart skipped a beat. From Jordan's gaze, Clarabelle knew what was written on the envelope.

“Wedding present. A sweet honeymoon, for us…” Jordan brought his face closer. “Look… Bali!”

Clarabelle's eyes widened instantly. "Bali?"

"Yup. Bali. Wonderful!” Jordan was thrilled by the surprise. He had been to Bali several years ago. Memories that Jordan would never forget. He went there with a special woman. But this time, he would return to Bali with his wife. He had to make this moment even more extraordinary.

"Do you like it?" Jordan asked with a cheerful face.

Clarabelle felt a soft thumping hit her heart as she looked into Jordan's sharp and beautiful eyes.

“Bali is special for me,” Clarabelle answered with a big smile.

"Really?" Jordan tried to be interested in what Clarabelle had to say. He deliberately decided to follow Clarabelle's request. Maybe Jordan should use another strategy to approach this unique woman.

“My father is an Indonesian. He met my mom in Bali. If I could go there, I would understand the history that was created between them.” With a flowery heart, Clarabelle answered Jordan's question.

"Wow!" Jordan didn't think this was what Clarabelle was saying. What Jordan thought Bali was where Clarabelle had memories with her lover.

"I'm excited." Clarabelle saw Jordan looking excited. She must also welcome special days there. With the foreign man, she called her husband.

The plane sloping down, getting lower, slowly setting its wheels on a wide runway, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali. Clarabelle's heart exploded and beat so fast. Her dream to see his father's country of birth had come true. For years she hoped that she would be able to see for herself, Indonesia, a beautiful place, which she often heard from Adriano or she saw from the screen, or also browsed the internet.

"We're going to have some fun, okay?" Jordan took Clarabelle's hand and took her by the hand.

Clarabelle did not refuse. The longer she was with Jordan, the more comfortable she felt. Jordan was very sweet and open. He heard everything Clarabelle had to say, accepted it graciously, and seemed unperturbed by anything Clarabelle told him.

While on the way to the hotel, Jordan did not let go of Clarabelle's hand. The man's smile repeatedly appeared on his handsome face. Every time Clarabelle glanced at him, there was an urgent pop in her heart.

"Have I fallen in love with him?" Clarabelle's heart whispered. For a long time, Clarabelle didn't feel this flutter. Ever since she decided to get rid of all things male. Surprisingly, with the man she first met on her wedding day, Clarabelle found that vibe back.

Jordan began to understand Clarabelle. It was good to do, he had been browsing some sites about Asian girls. Granted, Clarabelle was born and raised in Sydney, but after a few conversations, Jordan could see she was very different from the average Aussie girl. And the answer, Jordan found in Asian female characters.

"I've found the key, Lala. It won't take long, you will surrender and give yourself to me." Sure, Jordan spoke to himself. He looked gently into Clarabelle's eyes. He spread charm that he could be sure made Clarabelle would not hesitate to grow closer to him.
