Chapter 36: There Is Someone Here

“Crash”

I wake up out of a sound sleep to hear the breaking of glass and then I feel something hit me with a force that I have not felt in quite a while.  Throwing me clear off the bed, the explosion hits me so hard that I feel like someone is beating me with a baseball bat before it stops.  Hitting the wall on the other side of the room, I wince in pain because my arm is bent clear behind my back. 

Struggling to move, I cry out for anyone to hear me and when no one comes, I try to get up and can’t.  I look down to see why and quickly try to assess the situation.  The bed has shattered and is on top of me and a part of the outer wall has collapsed, pinning me against it.  Scanning the rest of my body, I see where the main problem lies.

My leg is crushed under the main support beam for the bedroom, it had to have come down when the explosion ripped the room in two.  Following it up further, I see where it has pierced my skin
