The temperatures that morning dropped to way below freezing, deadly frozen puddles of ice littered the floor below me where with the added bonus of the thickest fog I believe I had ever seen in my life, I was forced to navigate my way through the woods and hoped I would be able to locate the hounds. Thankfully with my training, I was able to map out my surroundings and move with caution closer to where I believed the hounds were. It was truly as though someone had painted the entire area a thick white colour, it was hard for me to see even an inch away from my face.
