Like a flash, the approaching figure covered the distance separating us and arrived next to me. My eyes went around hoping to shift my blurred eyes to the back of my head but all I see is red.

Low growls escaped from the intruder and he seems to be fuming really badly.

I didn’t know when his cold hand raised to touch me but the touch sure left my body trembling tremendously.

I wriggle under his hold but he only pinned me harder to the ground, his face coming closer to mine… he smells dangerous and powerful.

“Do not fear mine” his soft voice came and just like magic, it soothes my soul, except for his cold touch I can’t seem to get used to.

“Mine?” Did I hear that well?

I know full well that this creature before me is not a werewolf! He smells not like a rogue, he’s super fast, has red eyes and his touch is so cold!

A vampire? How’s this possible? Is this a punishment for having no wolf?
