“ What do you mean?” I questioned, still holding the apple in my hand.

“It’s poisoned,” he said.

And Maya stood up immediately, casting a dazed look on the pack guard.

Her faced marred into a frown,“What do you mean by that?Are you okay?”

“You better speak the truth now or I will report you to the pack,” the pack guard retorted.

“Hey Bryan calm down,” I pat his shoulders gently,“You weren’t actually here when…”

“Arrrgh!!” Maya screamed.

Immediately my heart sanked in my stomach, and goosebumps appeared all over my body.

My eyes widened at the shock of the knife out of Bryan’s stomach, his eyes were still wide open and then the knife was released from his stomach and his body thudded lightly on the floor.

It was a group of men, I wonder were they came from.

They grabbed Maya and I with our hands and one of them placed a sack over my head.

So many thoughts ran through my mind. Who sent them? Could it be they have been tracing us or is it him?
