"Thank you all for coming again! I hope you all had thought long and hard about the allowing Susan and her daughter Ayala into our pack. I will go table by table and see what your choice is." my father announced.
When my father was done with each table, it was a tie on if we would be letting them stay. The last and final vote was for us to decide. I linked my father asking him if I could say a few words before announcing our choice. He looked at me and nodded. I stood up and looked all around the room and then landed on Ayala and her mother.
"Before I announce our vote, I wanted to thank everyone for their honest and sincere vote. We appreciate your opinion so much. I know some of you may be worried about Ayala's past with myself and what she would be like with everyone here. She has been warned and has been on her best behavior these past two days. I believe she can change and better herself. Not only for her own sake but for her mother's as well. People have the ability to change if they have the proper guidance and are willing to learn as well. I believe as a pack together we can help Ayala better herself. With that being said, our vote is to allow the two of them to join our pack. Our vote breaks the tie and it is now been decided that Ayala and her mother, Susan will be inducted into our pack and become one of us. Now i understand some of you may be upset and made at this choice. Which is completely understandable, but if I am able to to push aside all of the hartred I have received over the MANY years then I believe you can too. We as a pack have always helped out when we have been able too. We must stand together as one and help Ayala and her mother out in their time of need." I looked over at Ayala and gave her a warning look. "With this said though, we still have our one slip up and you're out rule still in play. We do not tolerate bullies here nor do we forgive easily. I may not be here much longer and even after I leave the rule still stands. This pack will always be my home and family. I will ALWAYS protect it and the people who live within the grounds. Ayala, I pray to the Moon Goddess you can learn to be a better person and stop this hatred track you have been going down. If you don't, I promise you this, you will regret messing with my pack and family. Not only will you be a rogue, but I will be the person to handle your punishment as well. Thank you again everyone, if you would like to watch the ceremonial induction you are more than welcome too."
Everyone applaud when I was done with my speech. Lyall looked at my in awe as did my father and mother. None of them were expecting me to stand up and sound like an Alpha. I wasn't expecting it either, I am just as shocked as they are. Then again I am an Alpha's daughter, I have learned from the best and one day I will be a Luna and will need to be able to help control and handle a pack.
*You are going to make an amazing Luna one day my love.* Lyall linked with me.
*I have no idea where that authority came from but it felt good.* I smiled as I linked him back.
Lyall leaned over and kissed my forehead. "How did I get so lucky to have an amazing mate?"
"The Moon Goddess must like you for some reason then." I winked at him and he laughed.
Only those who voted yes stayed to witness the induction of Ayala and her mother. Once the induction was done we all sat down to eat dinner. Some of the pack that watched the induction stayed to eat with us but not many. We talked and mingled over dinner and even some time after we all finished eating too. It was nice to be able to mingle with some of the pack members. Ayala kept to herself most of the time but she did interact a few times. Hopefully she continues to behave herself. I know after what she did yesterday morning I shouldn't let her stay but she needed to know that I am in control and can ruin her if she slips up. I also couldn't at least try to better her as a person, just like Lyall, people deserve second chances to change.
Lyall and I decided to head back to his room. I want to spend time with him alone before we went to bed. We hardly got to spend anytime together today so I wanted some time with him. As we were heading to his room we heard someone running up behind us yelling out my name. We turned to see Ayala.
"Azura! Please wait." Ayala yelled out.
We stopped and waited for her. "What do you need Ayala?" I asked.
"I just wanted to thank you for not kicking my mother and me out after what I did yesterday. You had every right to do it but you didn't and gave me a chance."
"Remember that next time you have any thought of trying to make a move at my mate. I get you have had a crush on him for a long time but unfortunately he's not yours. The Moon Goddess matched me as his mate and you have to learn to accept that. You will meet yours soon so please respect our relationship and don't disgrace yours before it even happens."
Ayala frowned, "I know I truly am sorry for what I did. I over stepped and I shouldn't of done it. I don't expect you to forgive me anytime soon but please believe me when I say I am sorry. My own father left us because he was seduced and I know it's torn my mother up. I don't ever want to do that to someone or even be that person who tears a family apart. I'm thank the Moon Goddess you allowed me to stay and try to better myself. I already told your parents I am willing to see a therapist here to help me figure out my problems and to get myself better."
"I'm glad you are taking this seriously Ayala. We used to be so close and I still have no idea what happened but that doesn't matter anymore. What matters is you're trying to change and be a better person. We don't ever have to be friends again but we do need to be civil."
Ayala nodded her head, "I agree, thank you again. Have a good night you both."
After Ayala walked away, Lyall and I turned to head back to his room.
I opened my eyes to see I was back in Lyall’s room. I sat up in bed to see my parents o the couch and Lyall pacing back and forth in his room. “Why is everyone in here?” I asked groggily. “Azura! You’re awake!” Lyall came rushing over to me. “I had only fainted, why is everyone so worried?” I asked. “My love, you fainted two days ago.”I looked at him in shock. “It’s been two days since Jay was here?!”“Yes, you started mumbling something before falling over. I caught you before you could hit the ground and you haven’t woken since. We were starting to get worried. We’ve had doctors here and all of them couldn’t figure out why you weren’t waking up. They put an IV line in and said all they could tell was that you were in a deep sleep and to wait until you woke up.”I finally noticed all of the medical equipment in the room attached to me monitoring all of my vitals. “She came to me again. The Moon Goddess. We only talked for a short while but I guess time moves differently when I
“You know about the prophecy?” My father asked me. “Yes I do father. The Moon Goddess herself came to me while I slept and showed me of this prophecy to help guide me into the right direct so I can fulfill this prophecy.” I looked at him. “At least she believes telling me will help me instead of keeping it from me as a secret!” I yelled. I started sensing a whole bunch of different emotions all of a sudden. They were coming at me from all directions. I looked around and realized I was sensing everyone who was around us. I’ve never been able to sense anyone else’s emotions as strongly as I am feeling everyone’s right this second. *What’s wrong?* Lyall linked me. *Do you not feel all of the emotions around us right now?!**No I only feel yours. Why, do you feel everyone’s emotions?**Yes! Every single one!*Lyall gasped and let me go. I turned around and saw him kneeling at my feet. “What are you doing?! Get up!”He slowly stood up and looked at me in awe. “I’m so sorry for how I’
Once we got back to Lyall's room we went and laid on his bed and cuddled. "I like being in your arms, it makes me feel safe and at home." "Good, thats how you should feel at all times with me. I never want you to fear me or feel unsafe. If you do please then I am failing as your mate." "You don't scared me....Okay maybe a little at first but I had never seen you that way before so I wasn't sure what to expect." "I'm still very sorry for that. I never want you to see that side of me. I don't like being that." "Lyall, that side of you is part of you whether you like it or not. Everyone has a mean side to them, you just right now can't control it. I plan to help you with that. As your mate it's my job to help you overcome things you can't on your own. I'm your rock, together we will get your dark side under control." "What if I hurt you though? I could never forgive myself." "I'm a lot tougher than I look." I laughed. "It's not going to be easy or an over night process but I have
My father and I did a few laps around the pack land in our human form and then we stopped and shifted so we could run in wolf form. It felt so good shifting. My wolf was excited to be let out so stretch her legs. She loved when we went out running. She enjoyed the wind breezing on us just as much as I did. After a few hours of running we decided to head back to the pack house so we could shower and change before lunch. I was surprised my father didn’t really talk much with me while we were out running. I was really expecting him to give me a talk about how I should always fight for Lyall and to stay strong. Then again if he pushed too much he knew I would question him on why he was pushing so hard. Once I finished showering I headed to find Lyall. He was still working on his laptop when I entered his room. I walked up behind him and kissed his forehead before going to sit down on the couch. “How was your run?”“How did you know we went for a run?” He laughed and turned towards me
“Stay strong my daughter.” The Moon Goddess whispered to me. The bright light disappeared just as fast as it came. I sat there blinking trying to make sure I wasn’t still sleeping. I shook my head and got off my bed to get ready for dinner. When I finally came down to dinner everyone was already eating at the table. Lyall stood up once he saw me enter the kitchen. He helped me into my chair and pushed it for me. “Thank you.” I smiled up at him. *Is everything alright? I was trying to link you but you had it turned off.**I took a nap and was out cold. Sorry about that.*Lyall looked at me curiously but still smiled and kissed my forehead. A few bites in I look at my father and asked, “How come you didn’t join us for lunch? I went to your office after to bring you some but you weren’t there either.”He looked at me and hesitated for a second but then answered, “Jeremiah linked me that someone reported rogue’s near by so I went with him to investigate.”-good excuse- I thought to m
I cried so hard until I cried myself to sleep. *dream*When I opened my eyes I wasn’t in my room anymore. I was floating above my pack land. Next thing I knew, I saw my father leaving the pack house. I yelled for him but he couldn’t hear or see me. So I just watched and observed. He was heading towards the library. This must have been what was going on while we were eating lunch. Wyatt and Raven were waiting outside the library. The three of them looked around before entering the building. I followed them to see what was going on. They walked to the back of the library and once again looked around to make sure no one had followed them or was watching. My father then moved a book and a secret door opened up. I was in complete shock that the library had its very own secret room! I followed them down the stairs. Once they got to the bottom they walked down a dark creepy hall. They came to a door at the end of the hall and walked in. Inside the room were a few others including Jeremiah
