Chapter 9

Once we were done with our goodbyes we headed to my father’s office. Once inside we all sat down on the chairs and couches ready to discuss what we all think.

My father started the conversation, “I want you all to be honest with me on what you think if we should let Ayala and her mother to join our pack. Azura had already said her peace but I would also like to hear from everyone else, including you Lyall, you’re apart of this family now and your opinion matters too.”

I smiled at my father, it meant a lot that he was including Lyall in the family discussion even though he wasn’t apart of this pack.

My mother cleared her throat, “I agree with what Azura said in the meeting. I know she doesn’t have the best reputation, but people can change. We have to think like Alphas’s and use our head and not our hearts. As a mother myself I would hate to be left to be a rogue and worry day after day it myself and my children would make it.”

“We agree too.” Both my brothers said at the same time.

Everyone then turned to Lyall to hear what he had to say. I squeezed his hand to reassure him.

“I’m not one to judge anyone for their bad behaviors. I agree with Sylvia that people can change. Or at least try too. Like I am for Azura.” He smiled at me. “She deserves to make amends and show people she can be better than what she has been for years. No one deserves to be left out to fend for themselves without protection because they aren’t a nice person. If that was a case I would be a rogue myself.”

Everyone agreed.

“I’m glad we all agree, I feel the same way as you all do. Hopefully everyone else has the same mindset and agrees as well. Now we just wait a couple days before we find out. Thank you all for saying your peace. It means a lot to me not only as an Alpha but as a father and husband too. Your opinions matter to me.” My father smiled at all of us.

We all said our good nights and left to go to bed. While everyone went upstairs to their rooms I walked with Lyall back to his room. On our way there we ran into Ayala and her mother heading back to their rooms as well.

“Good evening Azura and Lyall. Congratulations again. “ Susan stated.

“Thank you Mrs Kenway.” I smiled.

Ayala was just glaring at the fact Lyall and I were holding hands. If her mother wasn’t with her I’m sure she would have had something nasty to say to me. She can’t stand that Lyall was mated to me and not her.

“You both have a good night and I do hope your rooms are comfortable enough for you both.”

“They are thank you Azura, have a nice night you both.”

Lyall and I walked ahead of them to his room. I could feel the dangers coming from Ayala’s eyes on my back but I didn’t care. Once we got into his room we made our way to the couch to watch a movie or something before heading to bed ourselves.

“Anything specific you’d like to watch?” I asked.

“Whatever you want is fine with me. I don’t really watch movies or shows.”

“Lame. That’s gonna change mr!” I giggled.

“As long as you watch them with me I’m fine with that.” He kissed my forehead.

I blushed and continued to look for something to watch together. I ended up putting on a show that the humans made about a Teenager who ends up turning into a wolf. It made me laugh to see all these wolf shows and movies that the humans have made. To them wolves were made up legends but in reality we lived among them just like these teens do in the show.

We watched a couple episodes and I felt myself starting to fall asleep in his arms.

“If you’re too tired to go to your room my love you can take the bed and I’ll sleep here in the couch.”

“Mmmm.” Was all I was able to manage to say.

Lyall laughed and got up and grabbed me one of his shirts to change into so I didn’t have to sleep in my dress.

Once I got his shirt on he came and picked me up off the couch and tucked me into his bed. He gave me a kiss on my forehead and went to turn to go back to the couch. Before he could leave I grabbed onto his hand so you couldn’t leave me.

“Sleep with me. I slept so well when you cuddled me last night.”

He looked at me and wasn’t sure if I was sleep talking or what.

“Are you sure? I don’t want you to do anything you don’t want to do.”

“Just get changed and come to bed with me.” I growled.

“Well I’ve learned you’re cranky when you’re tired.” He laughed. “Okay let me get changed and then I’ll come to bed with you.”

He was gone for only a few minutes and I made myself stay awake to make sure he actually came to bed with me. Lyall crawled into bed and got under the covers and scooted over to me to cuddle me. I instantly relaxed when he put his arms around me.

“Mmmm..home.” I whispered.

Lyall kissed my cheek and whispered, “Goodnight my love. See you in the morning.”

I fell asleep before I could reply goodnight back to him.

I woke up to Lyall still cuddling me. I turned over to face him and smiled when I saw he was awake already.

“Good morning. How long have you been up?” I yawned.

“Only for a little bit. I didn’t want to move and wake you so I just laid here cuddling you.”

“You didn’t have to do that but thank you for doing it.” I gave him a kiss. “Also thank you for sleeping next to me. I haven’t slept that well in who knows how long.”

“That was one of my best sleeps as well. I like being next to you.” He smiled.

I stretched and then got up off the bed to go to the bathroom and put my dress back on.

I came out of the bathroom to see him standing there in just his boxers. My eyes wandered over his whole body. Taking everything in about him from his bulky muscles, six pack and his huge package. My eyes lingered a little longer at his crotch and it took him laughing at me to avert my eyes.

I blushed once I realized what I was doing. I’ve never seen anyone other than my brothers or guys on tv this naked.

“Sorry.” I covered my face.

“Don’t be. You’re cute when you check me out. All of this is yours so you can look as much and as often as you like. And when you’re ready touch it too.”

I bit my lip. I really wanted to touch him. Run my hands all over his body. Feel every part of him and have him feel me. I felt myself starting to get aroused thinking about it.

Lyall tensed up once he smelt my arousal too.

“Oh….ummm” He whispered.

My eyes went wide when I saw him getting aroused too. The Mood Goddess sure blessed him I thought to myself.

He looked down and covered himself up.

“I’m so sorry. I can’t help it especially when I know you’re aroused too.”

I look up at him and bit my lip again. I made my way over to him. Not taking my eyes off of him.

“Azura…..what are you doing?” He whispered.

I reached my hands out and touched his pecks. Slowly I moved them all over his upper body. Lyall moaned as I moved my hands over him. When I reached his boxers, I looked up at him and bit my lip again.

He was breathing heavy, “You have no idea how much I want you right now. You’re driving me nuts.”

I reached down and grabbed my dress and lifted it over my head and let it fall to the floor. Leaving me standing there in just my panties.

Lyall gasped. His eyes wandered over my body.

“You’re so gorgeous.” He whispered.

I then grabbed his hand and put then on my body. He tensed up not sure what to do. So I moved his hands slowly up my stomach to my breasts to let him know it was alright.

I let out a soft moan once I let his hands reach my breasts. His eyes flashed from grey and black a couple times. I let his hands go and he kept them there. Squeezing my breasts and playing with my nipples. I moaned louder and pushed myself against him.

I felt how hard he was for me and moved my hand to grab his member. I slowly rubbed my hand along his length before gripping all of him in my hand.

“Mmmm” he breathed.

I stood up on my tip toes and started to kiss him as I played with him.

“Take me to the bed.”

He tensed up, “Aaaare you sure?”

“I need you.” I let my arousal fill the room some more.

He lengthened some more when he smelt it. Next thing I knew he was lifting me up and was carrying me to the bed. He then gently placed me on the bed and started kissing me.
