Chapter Eighty-Eight: Amber
Choosing to stay in Onyx Flame was an easy choice after Paige’s words. I realize that not every pack member is going to be happy about this. In fact, I’m guessing that more will be angry than happy, but this is my home. I’m tired of running from it.

Looking up into Alex’s big green eyes, I can feel my heart shatter. I’m ashamed of the woman I was. His tears stream down his face. The tears crash onto my face, mixing with my own.
