The day of Prom has arrived, you and Tara have found the perfect dresses, Tara decided she'd get ready with you, you picked out this beautiful floor length gown, it has sequins all the way down it and a v neck, it's a Silver coloured gown with light blue sequins, it drapes down you elegantly.
"What if Sam sees you?" You gape at her. "So, we aren't getting married, it's not bad luck." Tara chuckles. "I just want today to be special for one of us at least." You remark dejected. "It should be special for you." Tara gives you a sad smile. "Yeah because third wheeling with your brother is great." You laugh. "It could be worse." Tara replied optimistically. You finish getting ready and head downstairs with Tara, You head down to the kitchen, your mom is beaming at you both. Your mom spends about twenty minutes taking photos of you and Tara in your prom dresses. Finally Sam and Zack join you in the kitchen. "You look gorgeous." Zack gapes at you. "Thanks." You blush a little. Your mom quickly snaps some pictures of you and the boys and you all hurry to climb in the Limo, on your way out you see Nate, dressed extremely smart, he smiles at you and you turn away. You don't react to him, your still mad he betrayed you. You all pile into the Limo, as you're about to drive away, there's a knocking on the window. "Can I ride with you? My truck broke down." Nate asked, desperation in his voice. "Your date is so lucky to be going to prom in a truck." Tara mocked. "I don't have a date she stood me up." Nate replied, he glances at you. "Fine, if you have to." Sam huffed. Nate climbed into the car, placing himself in-between you and Zack. Nate and Zack begin nudging each other. "Dude, space." Zack huffed. "Shut up." Nate hissed back. "Can we just have a nice peaceful prom night, please?" You asked. You arrive at prom, You, Nate, Zack, Sam and Tara all walk in together. Nate clocks someone and starts to look a little shifty. You hold Nate's arm. "What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost." You asked. "Nothing, I'm fine." He dismisses you. You look over to where he is looking, you see Taylor and another guy from the football team. "She ditched you for him?" You asked laughing. "Sort of, I don't want to talk about it." Nate mumbles. "We might not be best friends but there has to be a reason you're going to prom stag." You smiled sweetly. Nate sighs. He pulls you out of earshot of the others. "My date wasn't Taylor." He remarked. "Who was it, Madison?" You asked. "No! You, I wanted to take you but you chose Zack." Nate replied, sadness in his voice. "It wasn't that simple, I'm in a difficult situation with Sam." You feel guilty for ditching him. "Screw Sam, you're 17, you can do what you want." Nate whisper yells. "Not according to Sam." You replied, sadly. Suddenly Zack joins your side. "What's your problem?" Nate snapped at him. "You, you're my problem." Zack spits. You head home to escape from the bickering boys and the oblivious Zack who was pointless as a prom date, you spent more time with Nate anyway, you head upstairs, sad that Sam had to ruin your prom, you throw yourself into bed. A few days pass after prom, you hear nothing from Zack, it's almost time for graduation, you decide to head out for a walk. As you're walking down the street you spot Zack and Taylor. You walk past Taylor and Zack, Zack tries to get your attention. "Olivia!" He yelled out to you. You walk off, paying him no attention. You walk past Zack and Taylor, not saying a word. Before long you're back at home preparing for graduation. He left you at prom and then had the audacity to try and speak to you with Taylor! You're reminiscing about school and memories, you feel a tear roll down your cheek, despite the bad memories there is still some good there, you gently place all the momentos from school into a box, pre pick out your graduation outfit and place it to one side ready for graduation.
You've been back at campus two weeks; Blake's been avoiding you which is super odd since you were close before the holidays. “Is it just me or has Blake been acting strange?” Oscar asked. “I've noticed that too.” You replied, a little concerned. “Weren't you two close before the break?” Nate questioned. “I thought we were, he hasn't spoken to me since we came back.” You sighed, sadly. “So go talk to him, find out what's going on.” Tara encourages you to talk to him. Before you can reply, Zack interrupts. “Don't bother, I can assure you he won't talk, I've tried talking to him, I got nowhere.” “But this is Olivia that will be speaking to him, maybe she will get somewhere.” Tara explained. “I'll text him, see if he wants to go for a coffee, we can talk then.” You remarked. “Good idea.” Tara replied. He reads it but doesn't reply. “I think he's mad at me, he's read it but not replied.” You explained. “It's fine, let him sulk, try to catch him after our practice.” Nate smiled.
You've arrived at Nate's for the holidays; his mom greets you. “Are you two looking forward to the holidays?” she hugs you as you enter the house. “Sort of, it's my first one alone” You sigh a little, remembering Sam and your mom aren’t here for the holidays. “I'm sorry Hunnie, I'll make it as fun as possible.” She hugs you. “Thankyou.” You give her a soft smile. “Why don't you two head upstairs and unpack, I'll work on dinner.” She nodded in the direction of the stairs. You and Nate head upstairs. “So, our first Christmas together as a couple.” Nate beams at you. “You don't have to make small talk, to try and make me feel better.” You smile, softly. “I know but I also know it's hard for you right now.” Nate sighed sadly. “As long as we have each other I'll be okay.” You reassured him. “I wanted to give you a gift early, to lighten the mood a little.” He smiled at you. “Oh erm, I brought yours, do you want one now?” You blush a little, showing him the nicely wrapped gift
You're back in the frat; you find Nate for the long-awaited conversation. “Can we talk? "You asked Nate. “Sure.” He smiled; you grab Nate's hand and pull him out of earshot of the group. “I was wondering if you wanted to get back together, like end the break?” You blurted quickly. “I've been waiting weeks for that question, yes!” He beamed. “I’m glad that’s settled.” You smile sweetly. “Did you manage to figure everything out?” Nate asked, curious. “I'm pretty sure I did, I realised I'm happiest with you.” You smiled at him again. “And I’m happiest when I’m with you.” Nate wraps you in a hug. “Taylor told me about the pool party.” You remarked. “My mom organised it.” Nate replied, sadly. “And she didn’t invite me?” You stare at him in shock. “She doesn’t like you.” Nate replied, quickly. “Oh.” You feel a bit of sadness wash over you. “I'm sure you can find a way to make her love you almost as much as I love you.” Nate smiled, reassuring you. Nate pulls you close, it fee
You arrive back at campus; you rush to the football field to find Nate. He looks worried. Nate spots you and gives you a sweet smile, you wave to him, you head for a seat and watch the rest of practice. He jogs over to you after practice is over, he wraps you in a hug. “I was so worried, what happened, tell me everything.” He looked at you panicked. “Let’s go back to Beta and I’ll tell you.” You remarked. Nate follows you back, he quickly changes and places himself next to you on the bed. “Who's behind the messages?” Nate asked, eagerly. “Ella.” You remarked. “What?” Nate stares at you. “Taylor was blackmailing her.” You continued. “Oh, and has Ella apologised?” Nate asked. “Yeah, it's all good, I'm gonna kill Taylor though.” You added, just at the mention of Taylor's name your blood boils. “So, the messages should stop now?” Nate asked, concerned. “I hope so.” You remarked. “Maybe everything can finally go the way we want it to.” Nate moves closer to you, love fills his ey
You were hanging out with Nate in his room in the Beta house, you had the last two weeks to think about everything and heal a little from the death of your mom and Sam. “How's things been?” Nate asked, carefully, rubbing the bottom of your back. “Okay, if I’m being honest.” You smiled, reassuringly. “Did you figure things out about us yet?” Nate asked, sheepishly. “Not quite, I will soon, it's been a lot to process.” You smile softly at him. “I understand.” Nate replied, a little hint of sadness in his voice. You head into the Livingroom to be greeted by Blake and Oscar; Blake wraps you in a hug. “My favourite person, how’s things?” Blake beamed at you. “They’re good.” You laughed at Blake. Nate is staring daggers at Blake. Blake hasn't noticed, you pull away and sit on the sofa. “So, Oscar, where’s Tara?” You grin at him. “She’s just getting ready.” Oscar blushes a little. “Are you two dating?” You asked. “Yes.” He blushed harder. Tara comes skipping into the Livingroo
It's been two weeks since Sam's death and you and Nate going on a break, you're hanging out with Blake, Zack and Oscar. "So you want to throw a party?" Blake asked, grinning like a Cheshire cat. "Yup." You laughed. "And that's why you need us?" Blake questioned. "I need the best party throwers in the house." You smiled, buttering Blake up. "Always, well since you asked so nicely, how can i say no?" Blake smiled at you. "Okay, well, erm, can you get the beer, please?" You asked, sweetly. "Has princess not got ID?" Blake mocks you. "No, you have to be 21, douchebag." You laughed in response. "I'm not 21." Blake replied. "You could pass for it." You smirked. "Really? What are you saying?" Blake gave you a skeptical look. "Calm your ego, I'm saying you look old." You laughed, mocking him. Zack and Oscar laugh, you notice Nate is stood there. "You good man?" Blake turned to Nate and asked. "Yeah, i was hoping we could talk Olivia?" Nate smiled at you. "I'm a little busy bu
