You're back in the frat; you find Nate for the long-awaited conversation.

“Can we talk? "You asked Nate.

“Sure.” He smiled; you grab Nate's hand and pull him out of earshot of the group.

“I was wondering if you wanted to get back together, like end the break?” You blurted quickly.

“I've been waiting weeks for that question, yes!” He beamed.

“I’m glad that’s settled.” You smile sweetly.

“Did you manage to figure everything out?” Nate asked, curious.

“I'm pretty sure I did, I realised I'm happiest with you.” You smiled at him again.

“And I’m happiest when I’m with you.” Nate wraps you in a hug.

“Taylor told me about the pool party.” You remarked.

“My mom organised it.” Nate replied, sadly.

“And she didn’t invite me?” You stare at him in shock.

“She doesn’t like you.” Nate replied, quickly.

“Oh.” You feel a bit of sadness wash over you.

“I'm sure you can find a way to make her love you almost as much as I love you.” Nate smiled, reassuring you.

Nate pulls you close, it feels nice to be back together. He loops his fingers in yours and heads back into the Livingroom with you. Blake walks off without so much of a word. Nate doesn't pay attention to him. he turns to you.

“I have something planned for you at the pool party.” Nate blushed.

“I can’t wait.” You grinned.

Did someone say pool party?

The day of the pool party has arrived; you get ready and head out to Nate's with him. You arrive to be greeted by Mac and Nate's mom, who doesn't seem overly fond of you being there.

“Why is she here?” his mom looks you up and down, she tuts for a moment.

“I invited her, she’s, my girlfriend.” Nate snapped at his mother's rudeness.

“We didn’t talk about this.” His mother hissed.

“No, you just demanded I don’t see her which I refused to obey because I’m not a child.” Nate started yelling at his mom.

“Fine, I can’t force you not to see her.” His mom’s expression cracked from angry to sad.

People begin funnelling into Nate's yard, Taylor and Brianna, Tara and Oscar, Blake, Madison and a few other people, the pool party is chaos.

“Why has she organised a pool party?” You asked.

“Early graduation, I guess.” Nate laughed.

“And you’re okay with that?” You laughed along.

“As long as you’re here, I’m happy.” Nate beams.

“At least someone wants me here.” A silence hangs over the two of you a moment, you hear Nate's mom call out to him.

“Nate I've someone I want you to meet.” She calls out from the house.

Nate gives you an apologetic smile and heads to his mom's side. You stand alone for a moment; a text comes through to your phone.

'Meet me in the forest, tonight after the party.'

Blake joins your side a few minutes later.

“Where's lover boy?” He asked, jealous.

“His mom wanted him to meet someone.” You explained.

“Looks like that someone is Brianna.” Blake points to the house, at the patio doors stand Nate and Brianna.

“Taylor really sent Brianna to do her dirty work?” You snapped.

“You should do something.” Blake suggested.

“You’re right.” You head for Nate and Brianna, when you reach them Brianna scowls at you.

You march up to Brianna, rage burns the pit of your stomach.

“What’s going on?” You snarled.

“It's chill babe, we were just talking.” Nate smiled, trying to calm you down.

“Looked to me like she was flirting.” You snapped.

“So, what if I was.” Brianna smirked, interjecting your conversation.

“Did you not get the message; me and Nate are back together.” You snapped, stepping towards her.

“Erm-I Really don't care.” Brianna smirked again.

“Taylor sent you, didn’t she?” You questioned, a little more calmly than before.

“Yes.” Brianna replied, embarrassed.

“You can tell her to keep away from Nate.” You remarked.

“I’m so sorry.” Brianna mutters, mortified.

“It’s fine.” Brianna walks off embarrassed.

Nate spends a bit of time talking to you, making sure you're doing okay.

The party is coming to an end; you slip out undetected to meet the new anonymous texter. You arrive in the forest, it’s dark, eerie and you’re alone, it’s like the start of every horror movie. Suddenly you hear a crunch behind you, like a twig snapping, you stand deathly still.

“H-Hello?” you call out, slightly scared. A shadow appears under the moonlight, between the trees.

“What are you doing here?” Your mouth agape, staring at the mysterious figure.

“I warned you skankzilla, Nate is mine and you're an issue.” Taylor snapped, she’s so close to you that you can smell her tacky perfume.

“He'll come for me. When he realises, I’m missing.” You explained.

“That's the intention, you're so naive.” Taylor’s smirk turned to a wicked grin.

“Screw you, Taylor!” You screamed, then you feel something, to the back of your head.

Then everything went black. You wake up your vision a little fuzzy. In a cabin, it looks abandoned, everything is covered in a sheet, the furniture is barely visible, it’s cold and dark and clearly hasn’t been touched in a long time.

‘I'm so cold. I need to get out of here.’

Taylor sucks at kidnapping people, she never restrained you, just stowed you in this cabin with your mouth taped. You rush to check the door.

‘Of course it’s locked, dumbass.’

You search for your phone; there's no signal and fifty messages off Nate asking if you're okay.

‘He's gonna be worried sick.’

Just as you begin to freak out you hear voices, they seem pretty raised. You press your ear to the door for a better listen.

“Let her go, I'll give you whatever you want.” That voice, it was Nate, he was trying to bargain for your freedom.

“Then my demands are you, I want you.” Taylors voice, a serious tone.

“That’s not an option.” Nate yelled, his voice becoming impatient.

“You said you’d give me anything I want.” Taylor remarked, getting frustrated that Nate won’t give in.

“Within reason.” Nate remarked, his voice stern.

“Then you'll have to kill me before she gets freed.” Taylor declared, thinking Nate won’t go to these lengths.

“I'm not above killing for someone I love.” Nate explained.

Then you hear a gun go off. Silence.

‘NATE!’  Tears stream from your eyes, someone begins to open the door.

‘Please be alive.’

You feel a strong-arm wrap around you; he's clutching his stomach and wincing as he leads you out the room.

“Nate.” Your voice catches a little.

But he says nothing, he climbs into his truck still silent and still clutching his stomach.

“Nate, I'm sorry.” Your voice pained seeing Nate so broken.

He looks at you, pale and dehydrated.

“We need to get you to the hospital.” You remarked, growing increasingly concerned for Nate’s well-being.

“No, No hospital.” He spluttered, His voice dry and hoarse.

“Okay, sure but please let me take care of you, stop at a drugstore, then we can head to Sam's spot.” You speak softly, hoping Nate will agree.

Nate nods, still silent he drives you to the drugstore, you rush in and grab everything you can see, things for fevers, antiseptic, bandages, water. You climb back into the truck with your stuff.

“Drive, hurry.” You beg him.

It's getting later and later, it's almost midnight and it's a full moon again, you must get Nate out of the moonlight as soon as possible.

You arrive at the cave, you wrap an arm around Nate, blood is staining his clothes, he's weak, you hurry him into the cave. He collapses onto the floor.

“This is gonna sting.” You rip some of your shirt off and apply pressure to his wound, while applying some antiseptic.

Nate winces in pain, you brush your hand over his chest softly.

“Sorry.” You apply a gauze to his wound and bandage him up carefully.

“It should heal in a few days; you shouldn't have come for me.” You gaze at him a moment, guilty wracking your stomach at the thought he could have died saving you.

“What and lose the only person I love?” Nate gazes at you, a mixture of sadness and love fill his gaze.

“You have to be more careful.” You remarked, hoping he’d listen to reason.

“I know but I just text you a bunch and you didn’t reply so I got worried.” Nate remarked, sadly.

“I couldn't reply, I’m sorry, I wanted to.” You sobbed.

“It's okay, you're okay.” Nate reassured.

“But you’re not okay.” You sobbed a little harder.

“I'll be fine in a couple days nothing some painkillers can't cure.” Nate laughed a little, trying to lighten the mood.

“This could hinder your football career.” You remind him.

“I’ll be fine, I promise.” Nate presses a hand on your shoulder.

You press your head against he touches his nose with yours; tears fall down your cheek.

“Don't cry beautiful, I'm okay.” Nate kissed your head.

“I’m just so relieved that you’re okay.” You wrap him in a hug.

“You could give me a kiss to make me feel better.” He smirked and gave you a cheeky smile.

“Fine.” You laugh softly, you press a soft and gentle kiss on Nate's lips, he smirks and brushes your hair out of your face and the tears off your cheeks.

He looks deep into your eyes, you can feel the pure love from his gaze, his eyes glowing he stares at you.

“I love you.” Nate mutters.

“I love you too.” You mutter back softly.

“My Beta.” Nate stares into your eyes.

“My Alpha.” You nuzzle him. You throw some jackets on the floor from Nate's truck and the pair of you get comfortable, you fall asleep.

The next morning you wake up at Sam’s spot, you head outside to head home. Nate stops and looks at you a moment.

“Maybe you could talk to my mom, make her see how much you love me.” Nate grins.

“I could try.” You smile sweetly back at him.

Nate drives you back to his house. You hold his hand and head in. His mom and Mac are sitting in the Livingroom. She notices Nate's wound and his bloody jacket.

“What did you do?” She lunges towards you.

“N-nothing.” You stuttered.

“I want to know what happened, right now!” She demanded, she gave you a look that if it could kill, you’d be dead.

Nate's mom is glaring at you waiting.

“Taylor knocked me out and locked me in a cabin in the woods and Nate came to find me, Taylor shot him.” You rush to explain the details.

“Oh, my goodness.” She gasped, placing her hand over her mouth.

“You have to understand I'd never do anything to intentionally put your son in danger.” You practically plead with her to understand you.

“I can see that, I'm assuming the clean-up is your job.” She stares at you and then back at Nate.

“Yes, I did what I could.” You remarked.

“Thankyou.” She sighed, relieved, she hugs you and heads to check Nate's wound.

“You need to see a doctor.” His mom demanded.

“I can't you know this, they will call the cops, the cops will do digging, I'll go to jail and the rest of the pack is put in danger.” Nate explained.

“I suppose you’re right, just please take it easy.” His mom pleads to him.

“I will, I promise, I’m sure Olivia will have my head if I don’t” Nate laughed.

Nate’s mom looks between the both of you “She’s good for you.” She grins as she wraps you in a hug.

“Thank you for being so patient with her.” Nate smiled.

“It’s okay, I want her to like me.” You replied, smiling softly at Nate.

As if on cue Nates mom comes walking back in, she stares at you a moment, then smiles.

“I wanted to invite you here for the holidays.” She beamed.

“Omigosh, thank you, of course I'll be here for the holidays.” You squeal.

“Excellent, right you two go rest up.” She dismisses you and Nate.

You head up to Nate's room.

“Welcome to my room.” Nate shows you around his room.

“You act like I've never been in here.” You chuckled.

“You haven't not since we were kids anyway. I’ve changed since then.” Nate laughed a little more.

“Do you remember that time our dads were having a barbecue, and we threw water balloons on their heads.” You start giggling.

“They were so angry.” Nate laughed, as you both reminisce.

“I think I remember what they said.” Before you could continue, Nate started his best impression of the incident.

“you two are as bad as each other, one day you'll understand how frustrating you both are.” You both laugh and Nate pulls you in for a cuddle, you feel your eyelids getting heavy, you slowly close your eyes.
