You've been back at campus two weeks; Blake's been avoiding you which is super odd since you were close before the holidays.

“Is it just me or has Blake been acting strange?” Oscar asked.

“I've noticed that too.” You replied, a little concerned.

“Weren't you two close before the break?” Nate questioned.

“I thought we were, he hasn't spoken to me since we came back.” You sighed, sadly.

“So go talk to him, find out what's going on.” Tara encourages you to talk to him.

Before you can reply, Zack interrupts. “Don't bother, I can assure you he won't talk, I've tried talking to him, I got nowhere.”

“But this is Olivia that will be speaking to him, maybe she will get somewhere.” Tara explained.

“I'll text him, see if he wants to go for a coffee, we can talk then.” You remarked.

“Good idea.” Tara replied.

He reads it but doesn't reply. “I think he's mad at me, he's read it but not replied.” You explained.

“It's fine, let him sulk, try to catch him after our practice.” Nate smiled.

“Good idea.” You smiled.

“I gotta shoot but I'll see you in a bit.” Nate waves goodbye to you.

“Okay.” You smiled, returning the wave.

Nate kisses your head and heads out. You decide it would be a good time to try and catch Blake. You head to his room.

“Blake, can we talk?” You knock on his door, your voice stern.

“What?” Blake snapped.

“Why are you angry with me?” You plead, just wanting to know what was wrong.

“Because I-erm...” Blakes expression drops.

“You what? Blake what's going on, I just want my Blake back.” You sigh, trying to plead with him.

He winces when you say that.

“Come in, I'll skip practice.” Blake steps aside letting you in his room.

“Look, Liv, I’ve been avoiding you.” Blake begins.

“I figured but why?” You asked.

“I'm in love with you and it's hard seeing you with Nate.” Blake explained.

“Blake...” You sigh.

“I don't want pity, I couldn't stop thinking about you over the break, and then we came back, and you and Nate were so loved up, I got jealous.” Blake gives you a sad expression.

“Blake, I...” You began.

“I love Nate, but I still want us to be friends.” You explained.

“I want us to be friends too but it's hard, seeing you with him, I get so angry.” Blake explained.

“I know, but I don't want to lose you out of my life, maybe we can talk to Nate together.” You try to reason with him.

“No, I'll do better to control my anger.” Blake explained.

“I must go and meet Nate after practice.” You started.

“Sure, see you.” Blake smiled.

“See you.” You head to meet Nate at practice.

Fast forward to the end of semester, Beta is throwing one final party to say goodbye to people, you're helping Nate with preparations.

Do you reckon this is enough for everyone?” You asked, looking about.

“Yes, it's a Beta only party obviously the guys will be bringing their girlfriends and of course you're invited.” Nate explained.

“I live here so it kind of comes with the territory.” you laughed.

“True” Nate chuckles.

“I'm gonna go get ready and I'll meet you back here in ten?” You remarked.

“Sure thing.” Nate kisses your cheek before you leave, you head upstairs to get ready, mid getting ready you hear some people talking downstairs.

‘The party wasn't meant to start for an hour yet.’

You finish up and head down to see Zack and Oscar stood with Nate chatting.

“So, you two are the source of the noise?” You giggled.

“Sorry.” Oscar chuckled.

“It's okay, the party isn't for another thirty minutes.” You replied.

“Yeah, we wanted to get a head start.” He raises a hand with a red cup in it, filled with beer.

A few hours passed, Beta was packed, and music was blaring, Tara pulled you into a game of beer pong.

“I shouldn't I'm already drunk.” You remarked.

“You'll be fine.” Tara laughed.

It's you and Nate vs Oscar and Tara, you and Nate are winning by two.

“Last cup, winner gets a kiss from their partner.” Nate smirked, cheekily.

“We kiss all the time.” You laughed at him.

Nate leans in and whispers something in your ear, your whole face flushes, you throw the ball, it lands in Tara's cup, you win!

Nate turns to you, cupping your cheek, he kisses you, hungry for more you lead him to his room.

“Are you sure you want to do this?” He smirked, his breath warm against your cheek.

“Mhmm.” Your breath catches in a whisper.

Nate begins undressing, you're alone a moment with your thoughts.

‘Will things change if Nate knows he's my first?’

You try to shake the thought from your mind and undress too, Nate envelopes you in his arms, kissing your neck and trail kisses down your body

“Mhmmm.” Heat rises between the two of you.

Nate's gentle and affectionate, after a while you stop, exhausted.

“I'm gonna take a shower really quick.” Nate gives you a small nod and presses a kiss on your lips. You head for your shower, when you're done, Nate's laying on the bed.

“Can we talk?” You asked, nervously.

“Sure, what’s up?”  He replied.

“Will what just happened change anything?” You asked, sheepishly.

“What? No! I still love you whether we slept together or not.” Nate looks at you a little stunned.

“Okay, just I was worried.” You explained.

“Don't be, we should rest.” Nate replied.

You cuddle up to Nate and drift off to sleep.

Six weeks later it's the last day, the graduation ceremony is today. You and Tara are going for your last campus coffee before having to part ways again.

" You, okay? You look worried.” Tara asked, concerned.

“I just got you back and now we have to leave each other again.” You remarked, sadly.

“I'm not going anywhere, my plan is to get an apartment in the city, and to be able to visit you.” Tara explained.

“You're welcome anytime.” You grinned.

“What about you what are your plans?” Tara asked.

“I think Nate and I are planning on living together, I have a job offer from a huge magazine as a junior editor, which Nate thinks I should take.” You remarked, excited.

“OMG! That is amazing, you should go for it.” Tara bounced with excitement.

“It's in another city.” You dismiss Tara’s excitement.

“Where you go, I follow, so don't worry about it.” She reassured you.

“What about your job?” you asked, concerned.

“I'm freelancing, everyone needs an artist, right?” Tara grinned.

“Sometimes T.” You laughed.

“You are sure you're okay, you've been overly quiet recently.” She pressed, to make sure you were doing okay.

“I missed my period.” You whispered.

“Wait what!” Tara gasped.

“I'm late, we only slept together once, the night of the party.” You continued.

“Have you taken a test or even told Nate?” Tara asked.

“No because I wanted to be sure.” You feel a pit of guilt in your stomach.

“This is huge, come on, we can swing by the drugstore before we get back.” She squealed.

You head to the drugstore, grab a couple of tests just to be sure and head to campus toilets.

“I’ll wait outside for you.” Tara smiled, reassuringly.

You head in and take the tests, after a couple of minutes you check them.

“They're both positive.” You show her the tests.

“You have to tell Nate.” She beamed.

“After graduation, which we are gonna miss, come on.” You grab her and start heading for the quad.

‘I wish mom, and Sam could see me graduate.’

“Olivia Yates.” ~The professor called your name.

Applause rings out, you head off the stage and to Nate's side. Finally, graduation is over and you're in Nate's truck heading back to Nate's house.

“You, okay? You've been quieter than usual.” Nate looks you over quickly.

" I feel sick, can we pull over.” You asked, calmly.

“Sure.” Nate pulls into the car park of a cafe.

He heads in to grab you a bottle of water, he returns minutes later and hands you the bottle, you give him a soft smile then sigh.

“I'm pregnant.” You blurted.

“What?!” Nate stares at you a moment.

“We’re having a baby.” you repeat the sentence again.

“Perfect.” Nate beamed at you.

“You're not upset?” You look at him shocked.

“Why would I be upset?” He asked.

“Because we are two 18-year-olds, with careers ahead of us.” You remarked.

“And we have 9 months before the baby is here.” Nate rubs the top of your hand.

“What are we gonna do?” You asked, hoping he had a plan.

“We can look at apartments, we have to tell my mom though.” Nate remarked.

“Sure.” You drive to Nate's house.

You enter the house, in the living room Mac and his mom are sitting on the sofa.

“Hey you two.” His mom smiled at you both.

“Hello.” You replied.

“Mom, we have to tell you something.” Nate began.

“Olivia is pregnant?” She gasped.

“How did you...” Nate stares at his mom like she’s some kind of psychic.

“I was your age once, okay so what are you gonna do?” She laughed.

“I think we should look for apartments.” Nate began.

“Nonsense, Olivia can move in here, when the baby is born, I can look after it while you two work and then after a couple years get your own place.” His mom remarked.

You and Nate thank her in unison “Welcome to the family.” She wrapped you in a hug.

Forever My Alpha

Three years later...

You're having a catch up with Tara, in your kitchen of your apartment.

“What's it like having a famous footballer for a fiancé.” Tara smiled.

“It has it's perks, what about you, settling down with Oscar, having a baby.” You returned the question.

“We are only across the hall, but I still feel like we haven't seen each other in months.” Tara replied, she didn’t lie when she said she’d follow where you go.

“We haven't properly, I've been busy at work and raising Laila.” You replied.

A little girl comes toddling into the kitchen, she had pink dungarees on, long blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes.

“Mama. Dada takes bear.” She began explaining.

“Go get him!” You laughed.

“DADA!” Laila runs at Nate giggling.

Nate comes sprinting through clutching the bear

“What’s wrong?” Nate looked concerned.

“Laila told me you took her bear.” You laughed.

“You little monster.” Nate laughed, Nate picks Laila up and carries her out of the room.

“I hope Oscar is that good with our baby.” Tara grinned.

“I'm sure he will be.” You smiled.

“I didn't want to bring it up but, did you hear Blake is in town.” Tara remarked.

Blake, the boy who confessed his feelings to you, the boy who was your best friend at one point that had just cut all contact.

“Yep.” You replied, shortly.

“Are you gonna catch up with him?” Tara asked.

“Nope.” You dismiss her question.

“You two were so close, you can't just cut him out.” Tara stared shocked.

“When he declares his love for me, I can, besides he hasn't spoken to me in three years.” You explained.

“Maybe he was just getting over you.” Tara explained.

As if on cue there's a knock on the door.

“Hello neighbours.” Oscar strolls in.

“You know you don't need to knock.” You laughed.

“I do when I brought a guest.” Oscar laughed.

“Who did you...” That's when you see him, over Oscar's shoulder.

“Blake?!” You stare at him, in shock.

“Liv.” He grinned.

“Why are you dressed like a professor?” You asked, looking him up and down, he was dressed in a green checker shirt paired with a brown tweed waist coat and blazer.

“Nice to see you too.” He laughed.

“Sorry, yeah it's nice to see you.” Heat fills your cheeks.

“You look good princess.” Blake stares at you, he gives you this look as though there is something unfinished between the two of you.

Before you can respond Nate comes in clutching Laila.

“She does look good.” Nate grinned.

Nate, my man! How's life as a famous athlete.” Blake looked shocked, like he forgot Nate existed for a moment.

“Yeah, good, Olivia what is he doing here?” Nate asked.

“Oscar invited me.” Blake replied.

“Sorry, I thought it was cool, it's been three years.” Oscar gave an apologetic look.

“It's fine, I'm gonna take Laila for a walk.” Nate began getting ready with Laila.

“Laila?” Blake gasped, he didn’t even know you had a child with Nate.

“Yes, our daughter. Speaking of which, don't you have something to tell them?” Nate beamed, pressing a hand on the base of your back.

“Oh, right, I'm pregnant.” You blushed a little bit.

“Yesss, our babies will grow up together.” Tara jumps up and down with excitement.

“Well at least you're excited.” You laughed.

“Are you not?” Tara questioned.

“Yeah, but kids are hard work and Laila is three, a newborn and a three-year-old while trying to juggle my editor job and Nate's football career.” You explained.

“I have it handled, my mom will babysit when we are working.” Nate explained.

“Your mom is a life saver.” You grinned.

“Oscar and I will also have Laila sometimes, gives us practice for our own.” Tara remarked.

“You're having a baby Oscar?!” Blake stares stunned.

“It's kind of obvious.” Tara laughed, showing her stomach a little.

“True.” Blake laughed.

“So, any lucky ladies in your life?” Tara pried a little.

“No, I'm still hung up on someone.” Blake gives you a small look, your heart tugs a little for him, it makes you sad that he's so sad.

“I have to get to work, T can you watch Laila. I mean Nate is off but if he needs help.” You asked.

“I can manage; you go.” Nate laughed, you kiss Nate and head out to work.

You're eating lunch at your desk, when your receptionist Sandra buzzes you.

“Go ahead, Sandra, what's up?” You replied.

“You have someone here to see you Miss Yates, she says it's urgent.” Sandra explained over the intercom.

“Sure, buzz her up.” You remarked. ’I wonder who it could be.’

You see a familiar face enter your office.

“Ella?” You stare stunned, you haven’t had contact with her for years.

“Hey.” she grinned at you.

What are you doing here? How did you even find where I worked?” you questioned.

“Maybe we could grab a coffee and talk about it.” She suggested.

“Sure.” You and Ella head to the neighbouring cafe.

“So how did you find out where I worked?” You asked.

“Madison told me, I've been trying to find you for months.” Ella explained.

“Why we didn’t exactly end as besties?” You asked, curious of her intentions.

“That's exactly why I’m here, please hear me out.” She looked at you sadly.

“I guess we can talk about it.” You remarked.

“Thank you, I have some connections, you're engaged to America's biggest football star, it wasn't difficult, anyway...” Ella continued.

“The reason I'm here is, I want to apologise for when we were roomies, it was a dick move of me, and I should have been your friend not your enemy.” She continued.

“Why are you trying to fix it now?” You questioned.

“Because I want more positivity in my life and that's thanks to my girlfriend, she showed me how to be a better person.” Ella explained.

“I appreciate you coming here, I guess I can accept your apology.” You smiled.

You finish up your coffee and head back to work.

“Did it all go okay Miss Yates?” Sandra asked.

“Yes, thankyou Sandra.” You finish up your article and head home, Oscar and Tara are still there as is Blake.

“Where's Nate?” You asked.

“He went to grab takeout, he was gonna pick you up from work, did he not call you?” Oscar grinned.

“Shoot, I missed his calls.” You remark, feeling guilty.

“I'll text him, don't worry.” Oscar shoots Nate a text.

“Thankyou.” You smiled.

Laila is asleep in her play pen; Nate comes through the door takeout in hand.

“Why didn't you call me?” Nate’s tone was angry.

“Ella turned up at my work, sorry.” You replied, sadly.

“What did she want?” Nate asked.

“Apparently to apologise but she mentioned you a few times, so I figured she wanted some dirt.” You explained.

“I'm sorry for getting mad, I was worried.” Nate apologised.

“It’s okay.” You sit on the sofa next to Tara.

“Dig in everyone.” Nate grinned.

The attention turns to Blake.

“So why are you still here?” Nate asked, his tone fed up.

“Nate!” You snapped.

“What?” Nate looks at you.

“Please don't start a fight.” You give him the look that stops him from fighting.

“Oscar and T said it was cool to crash at theirs for a few days, I'm giving a seminar at the local university, so they saved me cash on a motel.” Blake explained.

“That's great, I'm glad you put your smarts to work.” You remarked.

“I had encouragement, thanks prin... Olivia.” Blake smiled.

“It's okay, I'm glad you've realised your potential.” You smiled.

Everyone finishes up, Tara, Oscar and Blake head out, leaving you and Nate sitting in silence.

“What’s going on?” You asked.

“I could ask you the same question.” Nate snapped.

“For goodness' sake! You're 21, we have a child together and are getting married!” You snapped back.

“Then why's Blake showed up three years later?” He snapped again.

“For his seminar like he said.” You remarked, still pissed at him.

“And you believe that?” Nate questioned.

“I really don't care Nate, I'm tired, my feet are killing, and I'm exhausted from this pregnancy.” You shut down the argument.

“Sorry, I’m just jealous.” Nate remarked, feeling a little guilty.

“Why?” You asked.

“Because you and Blake used to be close, I was worried you'd choose him.” Nate explained.

“There is no choice! I chose you and I'll continue to choose you; I'm having your child.” You reassure him.

“I know.” Nate grinned.

“Please can we go to bed?” You asked.

“Yeah, come on, I'll get princess to bed.” He scoops Laila up and heads into her room, before joining you in bed.

1 year later....

“Are you ready to become Mrs Winters?” Tara asked, standing in the bridal suite with you.

“More than ever.” You beamed.

“Then your king is waiting, let's go.” Tara leads you downstairs.

You head into the ceremony; it’s outside, there's a beautiful outdoor set up, there’s a pergola covered in flowers in blue and pink, a pink silk carpet adorned the floor serving as an aisle and seats were placed perfectly either side, Nate is smiling as you walk down the aisle. You take each other's hands and say your vows.

“Thank you for not only opening your heart to me but giving me two beautiful children, I can't imagine my life without you, thank you for everything you do, I promise to love you until the day we die.” You begin to cry.

“While I'm not big at speeches, I want to thank you for showing me what love is, what it feels like to be loved and then blessing me with two kids who give me extra love, I love you for eternity” Nate remarked, he also wells up a little.

You kiss and head inside, for the party. You watch as Laila tugs at Nate's mom to dance.

” Grandmama come dance.” Her eyes beam up at Nate’s mom.

“Just one dance.” She laughed.

“Grandpop come too.” She beamed.

“Sure.” Mac laughed.

“Can you believe that Mac and your mom got together.” You remarked to Nate.

“He treats her better than my father ever did.” Nate smiled.

You see Tara and Oscar take to the dancefloor, then a panicked Blake comes over.

“I was playing in the garden with Sam, and he fell, is he okay?” Blake panics.

He holds the toddler up to you.

“He's fine, you're a good uncle Blake.” You beamed.

“I wanted to make sure I didn't want Nate to kill me.” Blake grinned.

“Dude, Sam has fell so many times when we play in the garden kicking the football, he's a kid, they fall.” Nate laughed.

“Cool, I’m gonna take him to grab food.” Blake disappears with Sam. You turn to Nate.

“You want to dance?” Nate asked.

“Nah, let's just watch, it was very sweet of you to agree to calling our son Sam.” You smiled.

“Your brother wasn't totally bad; Sam won't be bad either.” Nate remarked.

“Thank you, and for befriending Blake.” You continued.

“Well, when I have to work with him it becomes a thing that happens.” Nate laughed.

“He got on the team?” You asked.

“Yeah, he's the sub for me at the moment but he will have his place soon.”  Nate explained.

“I’m so glad.” You remarked.

“Everyone is so happy, aren't they?” Nate blurted out.

“Not Junior, I think Tara needs a hand.” You see Tara struggling with a toddler hanging off her side.

“Oscars on it.” Nate laughed.

You see the pair franticly trying to console their child. The wedding draws to a close, you head back to normality, being a mom and an editor and on full moons a werewolf, you gained a promotion in this time too.
