By the time I arrived back at the hotel, I realized what a mistake I had made, but nothing was going to change. Even if I had told him I liked him, Even if he told me to my face he liked me back, he still had a girlfriend and that wasn’t going to change. 

Walking into the hotel suite, It was empty. That seems to be a common thing these days. I mean, it was fine, they watched me like a hawk and now they don’t. I much prefer it this way. 

Closing and locking the door, I went and sat down on the sofa, only then noticing a note left on the coffee table in front of me. I grabbed it and gave it a quick read.
