Ten minutes after the photos were posted, the social media servers crashed almost immediately.

Search terms like "Superstar Stella Turner Cheating on Wedding Night", "Adam Green's Deliberate Cuckolding", and "Drake Cameron Catches Stella Turner Cheating Red-Handed" quickly dominated the trending topics.

Meanwhile, my manager, Josh Mendez, was being flooded with calls. Covering the receiver, he looked at me with a pale face.

"Drake, it's Stella's team, and also Mrs. Turner on the line…" he said. "They're all on the line."

I nodded, gesturing for him to continue.

"They're demanding that you immediately post on your socials, clarifying they were just stills from a drama, or that they drank too much during the wedding and the photos were just captured at the wrong angle."

I chuckled lightly. "Clarify? Why should I clarify anything at all? I am the one whom Stella legally married. She was the one who abandoned her newlywed husband for an old flame. And yet, they're asking me to cover for her ex-boyfriend and pretend it never happened?

"Really, Josh, do you think I was a saint born yesterday who got hit in the head by a donkey?"

Josh didn't know how to reply.

The door was then slammed open with a loud bang. Stella stormed in, her eyes red and bloodshot. She gripped her phone so tightly that the veins in her hands were protruding.

"Drake Cameron! Do you know what you've done?"

She threw the phone onto the coffee table before me, the screen still showing the photos I'd posted online.

"Why did you do this? Adam is innocent! He was just having a bad day, and all I did was go over to have a drink with him! Nothing else happened between us!"

I looked up at her calmly. "Nothing happened? Then why was he lying on our bed in our home? And why would you be holding me while moaning his name aloud all night long?"

Stella's face turned redder than a beet, as though someone was choking her. She probably didn't think that I'd heard everything.

She simply roared back at me, "I was drunk! I just made a mistake that every other woman in this world would have made!

"But did you have to go this far and make such a huge commotion out of nothing? Did you have to ruin my career and Adam's too? I never thought you could be this vicious!"

I stood and walked toward her. "Stella Turner. What you ruin is our marriage. You and your precious Adam Green.

"And how could you call me vicious? Compared to what you've done to me, I'm a saint. At most, all I did was make sure you got your karma.

"Also, allow me to correct you. Not every woman in this world would have made the same mistake as you did. Only people who can't keep their legs closed like you will. Don't you dare drag down other innocent people with you."

Stella trembled with anger and raised her hand to slap me.

I didn't move. Instead, I just stared at her coldly in the eye and said, "Go ahead. Hit me. After that, you're going to see another trending search online. Maybe a headline that says 'Superstar Stella Turner Assaults Newlywed Husband'.

"I promise that the search hits for that will be even more viral than the ones trending right now."

Her hand froze in midair. Finally, she dropped her arm powerlessly.

Stella's mother, Fiona Mercer, was the chairperson of TM Entertainment. She personally called me. And as soon as the call connected, her haughty voice rang through the speaker.

"Drake Cameron, you will immediately delete that post you made and hold a press conference to apologize and say that everything was nothing more than just a misunderstanding. I will not allow you to trample all over the Turner family's reputation like this."

I leaned back against my couch, leisurely cleaning my ballpoint pen.

"Mrs. Turner, might I say that I'm not the one ruining your family's reputation, but your daughter. She was the one who did such a thing on the night of our wedding day. I'm already being very magnanimous by not immediately bringing up divorce with her."

There were a few seconds of silence on the other end of the call. Then, Fiona's voice exploded with anger.

"What the hell do you want? The rights to the music? Or is it money? Name your price! Whatever it takes for you to sweep this under the rug!"

I blew lightly at the nonexistent dust on my pen.

"I don't want anything," I replied. "I just want justice."

Fiono laughed. "Justice? Justice belongs only to those with absolute power in this industry. Don't you dare forget who are the ones giving you what you have today, Drake Cameron. You're nothing without the Turners!

"Now set aside that laughably naive thinking of yours and do as I say. You have exactly 30 minutes to think things through.

"If I don't see your apology on your socials by then, you're going to face the consequences on your own."
