Sean exhaled a sigh and rolled over, the mattress molding around his body. The softness of his mattress could coax anyone into a peaceful slumber. But he stayed awake like an owl. Her thoughts and his broken desires didn't let him sleep. Those broken desires kept cutting through his flesh like a swarm of pointed nails for nine months. There was no visible wound, but he felt them festering.

This wasn't the first night, sleep had evaded him. It was an everyday thing now. No matter how tired he gets himself, sleep just wouldn't come.

However, tonight he was restless. His urge to see her wasn't letting him breathe, much less snore. He ignored the need, pushed it down, but with every passing second, it grew into something unavoidable. With frustration surging through him, he tossed the cover aside and got to his feet.

Slipping on his sleepers, he marched out of his house to see her. As the prison was miles away from his place, he decided to drive. All this while, his heart kept twisting a

  • My Beta Charming   Games Of Love

"What happened to you? Broke up with your 6th girlfriend?” Violet asked Snoopy, who had been strangely withdrawn since their return. Chris and Snoopy had come to see Violet in Sean’s room as Sean had strictly warned her against leaving the bed until she had recovered completely.Snoopy sighed, rubbing a hand over his face. "I don’t know… I keep having these strange dreams," he said, a hint of unease in his demeanor. "What dreams?" Violet asked. She didn't know rabbits could dream but then again Snoopy could speak as well.He was one of a kind. With him, anything and everything was possible. "I..""He is just stressed by everything that has happened over the past few days," Chris interrupted, brushing it off as nothing serious. Violet agreed with a nod. "You two had to go through all of that for no fault of your own,” Violet said, ackowledging their sufferings. "Some troubles must be endured for a greater cause.," Chris replied mysteriously. Violet looked at him, amused by the b

  • My Beta Charming   No Longer A Traitor

Zen roared, beside himself with rage. The river of molten lava churned, a powerful wave rolling through its depths. The monsters trembled as fear seized their nerves. "How is this even possible?" he snarled, his half-burnt face twisted ugly. There was no way they could have slain the creatures. They simply did not possess the capability."They were killed with Ashbane," the messenger said quietly."Ashbane," Zen uttered the word, confusion flickering through his voice. How did mortals even get their hands on it? Mortals were not meant to know about it. Even Violet’s knowledge fell short. His gaze hardened as the truth settled in. This was no accident. Someone had helped them. Someone who knew about magic to this extent. And only a few knew about it. Him, Aurelius, and Atlas. ................“I want to go home,” Violet murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. All she longed for was their bed, the familiar warmth, the scent that was theirs, the place where she could finally rest w

  • My Beta Charming   Proud Of Her

The wolves had done the unthinkable! They hadn’t merely defeated the creatures from hell; they had shattered the myth of Zen's invincibility. Their victory was an open challenge to Zen's authority. The wolves’ cheers echoed through the air, buzzing with triumph. Sean dragged himself through the warriors, patting shoulders, offering brief nods of approval. It was a gesture born of habit. In that moment, he forgot he was no longer the beta. The warriors too gravitated toward him, seeking his acknowledgment as they always had after a victorious battle. He may not hold the badge, but he was still their commander. Sean searched for Azriel, though filtering out a single scent amidst the thick stench of blood and death was no child's play. But only a moment later, Azriel stepped into view, and the cheering got louder. The chanting of victory resonated, infusing warriors with renewed energy. After making sure that every street of the capital was free of danger, Sean and Azriel made their

  • My Beta Charming   Battle To Protect

Chaos dominated the streets outside. Ear-splitting screams pierced the air, raw and desperate, echoing through the atmosphere. Blood smeared the ground in thick, dark pools. She knew, with sick certainty, that the blood soaking the streets belonged to innocents. As they had feared, the creatures had managed to break through defenses and now headed to the packhouse. "You still have time, Violet," Luna said one last time. Violet lifted her chin, resolve hardening like her features. "My decision hasn’t changed, Luna.""Alright. Just call my name if you need me," Sienna told her. Violet nodded. Sienna and Violet marched at the front, leading a group of women who were ready to sacrifice their lives for their kingdom. The air grew thick with fear and anticipation as the massive creatures emerged from the shadows, their long, wiry necks bending unnaturally, each having a hedious, terrifying face. They walked on all fours, jaws open to reveal lines of jagged teeth, and eyes that burned wit

Sean cupped her cheek gently. "Take care, okay?"Violet nodded. A faint smile curved Sean’s lips as he leaned closer and pressed a soft kiss to her forehead. With his weapons strapped in place, he was all set to go out and unleash a bloodbath upon those beasts. But before that, he needed a moment with her. The man drew away a second later and gazed down at her with pure adoration. "Be safe," she said, looking gently in his eyes. "I will," he assured her softly. Once, his life had meant very little to him. As a warrior, death in the line of duty had always seemed like the highest honor, greater than life itself. He had never feared it. He had always welcomed it as an inevitable end. But ever since she had come into his life, death had lost its charm to him. It no longer felt noble or distant. It felt scary. The thought of leaving her behind and alone terrified him more than anything could. "Take me with you. I'll fight them too," she urged again, hoping he might change his mind

  • My Beta Charming   Fighting The Chaos

Chaos erupted everywhere as the creatures unleashed carnage throughout the capital. Screams of terror and pain reverberated in the air, only to be crushed under the spine-chilling roars of the hellish creature. Zen had sent his pets to wreck the mortal world. It struck without warning, leaving the wolves unprepared. Emergency alarms blared across the capital, urging commoners to stay inside their homes."There is a whole army of them," Arlo said, dragging a hand down his face. The warriors were already out, firing at the dwellers, but it wasn’t enough. Bullets and arrows barely pierced their thick skin. "What should we do, alpha?" Hendrix asked, turning to Azriel. His voice was tight with urgency and worry as chaos continued to escalate outside. The enemy against them wasn’t just another rival pack or a rogue they could overpower with numbers and strategy. These were the dwellers of hell, creatures born to destroy. They existed to devour, to wreck, to rip through flesh, leaving nothi
