Eva sighed and stretched as she stood from her seat and walked out of the plane with the help of her cane. Samael walked behind her with their suitcases. The King and Alana walked out of the plane behind the happy couple and at last, came Calvin. Who was struggling with his bag and a handful of snacks he had taken from the plane’s snack bar. Samael watched as his beloved lay in the hospital bed. Her eyes were closed, and she looked peaceful. Sam was hurting, but he couldn’t muster up the courage to move from Eva’s side. Nurses came into the room and helped him as much as they could.Samael refused to be injected with anything that would make him drowsy. He had an eerie sensation and felt that if he were to leave Eva’s side for just a moment, something terrible would happen to her. As the days passed, Eva made no sign of waking up.
