Chapter 24

Samael smiled as he softly placed Eva on his bed. Being with his beloved pleased him, more than anything in the world. Being close to Eva made him invincible.

Eva slowly shuffled around and a small smile formed on her face as she cuddled into the bed. Sam didn’t realize how much he missed his Beloved. He never wanted to feel that helpless ever in his life.

He pulled Eva closer to him and she snuggled into him. Both vampires are in a state of constant contentment. Eva’s eyes fluttered closed and Samael smiled as he too was able to finally relax. Pretty soon the day would come that he would take her back to his kingdom and he would succeed the throne with his beloved by his side.

Samael placed gentle kisses on Eva’s temple until sleep eventually came.

The next morning came and both vampires were fully asleep.
