Eva Led Alana into an empty room.

“Eva, what’s going on?” Alana questioned in worry.

“There was an attack. It looks like wolves attacked a town nearby, Eva explained.

“That's impossible, evenRogues follow the rules of the treaty.”

“We managed to kill one, but the others got away. A couple of vampire families were harmed. A baby was orphaned but mostly the damage was materialistic.” Eva sighed as she felt around for a chair. When her hands came into contact with a plush comforter, she realized it was a bed.

Eva had become accustomed to the castle but still had many rooms that she was unfamiliar with. Just like the one she was currently in with Alana.

“Eva, have you thought about doing a mating ritual with Samael? To get your vision?” Alana questioned as she took a seat next to her beloved best friend.

“Initially we did, but honestly, I’m fine with being blind. I can be a queen and a good ruler even if I don’t have my vision. I have a beloved who loves me for me. Just as I am”
