I Want A Wife

Reiner's POV:

"....Sign the marriage contract or you're fired!"

I leaned back in my seat and waited for her next line of action. Up until now, I had done nothing but set-up the perfect worse case scenario if she chose not to sign the contract.

Laura was conflicted inside. This was a tough decision for her to make. From where I sat, I saw that her hands were far from steady.

"What the hell are you waiting for?" I thundered, causing her to quiver.

"I-I need some time to think about this, Caesar. This...this is too sudden," she replied, her voice croaked.

I leaned forward at her and pointed my index finger at her. "If there's one thing I hate more than anything is someone who wastes my goddamn time. I've got a busy schedule today so I'd like to get this out of the way. You were given two options, Laura. Choose wisely and quickly."
