CHAPTER 10 - Family
Erica's POV
When Friday came, me and Zoe secretly meet at the parking lot on the company's building. Zoe insisted to Aunt's secretary to give me a day off on Friday so that I would be able to come with her.Before me and Zoe even met, I opened the GPS of my phone because Tyler told me so. He said he'll track our way and the place where we're going, to make sure that I would be safe.
"What's your complete name?" Zoe asked while driving the car.
"It's Aila Miller." I keep my eyes on the road while answering her.
"Miller. Are you from here?" she asked again.
"No. I came from a far away province," I lied. I'm such a good actress. Or maybe a good liar.
"Do you have your parents?" Why do I feel like she's a reporter whose so interested in me?
"They died when I was five. There was a fire on our house and I was the only one who survived," I lied again.
