CHAPTER 2 - Pissed

Erica's POV

I sit beside him without any permission, of course I leave 2 rulers space between us.

He turnes to me, "You must be so brave to sit beside me without my invitation," he hissed.

"Yeah. Yeah. I got your point. But I can't stand on shouting again and again while having a conversation, when I could just sit beside you so we can hear each other better," I defended.

I see no reaction to his face so I buzz in my favor. "I've heard that you're a very successful billionaire and you have a company of your own," I started.

"If you're here for money, how much do you need?" he bumped in

I was shocked. "What? No, no, no," I defense, but after a few seconds I just realize that my favor actually has to deal with some money.

"Well, uhmm---yes. Maybe? But! I promise you that I would pay you after you help me," I assured him.

"So what kind of help do you need?" he asked with a boring tone.

I took a deep breath before I speak. "You see, I just got out of prison earlier. But, don't judge me. I'm NOT a criminal," I emphasize the word 'not' cause I wanted my name to be clean and he would not look at me with disgust and horror.

"So you were wrongly imprisoned?" he asked

I gave him a questioning look. "How do you know?" I asked out of curiosity.

He lean to the mini table and picked up the glass wine, he take a zip before answering my question. "You said it yourself, you were put in jail but you're not a criminal. That only explains that you are wrongly imprisoned," he explain while not even looking at me.

Alright. I'm the dumb one. But he's also dumb. How could he just believe me? "You believe me completely? What if I'm not saying the truth and I was just here for your money?" I asked trying to test him.

He looked at me and answered, "You came here looking so desperate and asking for my help. The way you talk, I could already sense that you're not lying."

"Wow. Your a good deductionist." I accept the fact that, just now, I was amazed by this man.

He started to swirl the glass of wine to a circular motion. "Sometimes it's better for us to use our commonsense," he replied.

"And now, you're asking help from me. You want revenge, am I right?" he deducted again.

My eyes widened as it sparkles. "Your amazing!" I exclaimed. "I could be your number one fan. You're like Sherlock Holmes's son!" I praise him like he's the best person that I've ever met.

I was just praising him this much cause I want him to be overwhelmed and then eventually he would say yes to my favor.

"Enough with such praising," he cut off.

"You don't want some compliments?" I asked.

"I will not help you," he directly said, completely ignoring my question.

My eyes widened as my eyebrows met each other. I got shocked. "But, why? I said I'm going to pay you once I get what I wanted," I insisted.

"I don't know you," he simply said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"That's all?!" I couldn't help myself and yelled at him

He take another zip from his wine, enjoying it's exquisite taste. "I see no reason of helping you. I don't do charity works. And besides, I'am not the God of Justice. I can't promise you that you will receive the justice and revenge that you wanted."

I felt like someone had shooted me thousands of arrows to the different parts of my body. He's such a dumb straight-forwarded person. He didn't care about the feelings of others.

"So you consider 'helping me' as a charity work?!" I exclaimed, I feel so humiliated right now.

I stood up. "You know what? Nevermind! Just forget that this night happen!" I yelled at him. "There are other guys out there who would willingly help me and will sure do understand my situation," I added.

He was such a bastard! He was not even paying attention to me or to what I'm saying, he keeps on staring at the glass of wine that he keeps on swirling and swirling again and again.

That's it! I wouldn't get anything from this bastard. As I was about to take my first step to leave him, he said, "Goodluck on finding the right guy."

I gave him a death glare before I leave. He totally pissed me off!

"How did it go?" Silver asked when I arrived at her house, she was watching TV when I arrived.

I sit on the sofa, next to her. "He did not agreed. And worse?! He humiliated me!" I exclaimed.

"Ooowsss. That hurts," she murmured. "No worries, I have already found your next target."
