I don't know why she has always been like this, especially when she saw me with Larry , he hatted how close we were, so she would take any opportunity to humiliate and embarrass me, usually I would fight back and give her a taste of her own medicine, and judging by the look on her face when I refused to fall into her childish trap, she was expecting me to hit her back, but I don’t have time deal with that bitch right now, finding Larry is my number one priority.

“Run away like the coward you are, omega” she barked I turned and faced her, giving her a menacing look.

“You might be willing to ruin Larry ’s birthday party, but I’m not, see that’s the difference between me and you, I care about him, whereas you only care about your fucking self, you might be the Beta’s daughter, but with no brains at all, no wonder Larry couldn’t choose you” the crowd hissed at my words, making Jacqueline’s face change, as they looked to be on my side I smirked turning my back on her, heading outside towards the car

“Choose” she scoffed “you think Larry chose you!” She pulled my shoulder back making me turn around and face her.

“I don’t think, I know”

“Why, because he told you?” she mocked.

“You know what Jackie; I don’t have time for this”

“You might be pretty, but you are still a weak Omega, with no actual use to anybody, you need to know your place” she says it to my face.

“Don’t worry about that, at least you acknowledged my beauty, I know exactly where I belong”

“oh, you think you’re going to be Luna? I glared at her and didn’t answer, I know I’m going to be his Luna, but it’s not confirmed yet, tonight is our eighteenth birthday, I don’t know if Larry has turned yet, he promised me that even if I’m not his mate, he won’t go looking for his true mate. That’s why we decided to go to the cabin, so we can mate and mark each other, no matter what the outcome was, mates or not He told me that didn’t want to build a connection with anyone else, and neither did I, even if we did find our mates afterwards, we didn’t care, as long as we were together, that’s how much we mean to each other, I am his true love and he is mine, and that’s how I know that l’ll be his Luna, and it really sucks that I can’t throw that in her face right now.

“You know what Jackie, here’s one thing I know for sure, you will never ever be his Luna, I know it’s something you’ve dreamt about for years, and I know that deep down inside you believe that you are his mate, you burn with that desire that will never come to reality, well let me put you out of your misery, and tell you that; that will never happen, even in your dreams”

“Really? Then how comes you are looking for Larry , and yet I’m the only one who Knows exactly where he is”

“Whatever” I scoffed waving her off, she would do anything to try and get a rise and shame me in front of everyone, and for her to do it now, only shows how desperate she really is.

“Oh Larry she called out in her honey glassed voice, and Larry came out from the guest room on the right as the future Alpha Larry has always kept a clean look, you would never catch him with a hair out of place, but right now, as he stood in front of me, something was wrong, the picture just didn’t look right, his brown hair looked disheveled, I could tell that he tried to tame it, but I know Larry , and this was completely out of character, his shirt was misbuttoned, and the icing on the cake was the lipstick on his lips.

“Oh, sorry about that, babe” she chirped wiping the lipstick off the side of his mouth I stood there unable to move, she turned to me as she holds him one hand on his shoulder.

“oh, you were saying something I was finding hard to understand, please go on” I looked into Larry ’s grey eyes “you…you…”I tried to speak but the words wouldn’t come out.

“Oh, us, yes we kissed, in fact I think the phrase made out hard is more suitable, and he really enjoyed it didn’t you babe” she chirped with her hand on his chest and the other around his waist, and he just stood there, it looked strange to me that he didn’t protest or push her away.

“well if I’m being completely honest, his mouth is not the only place I kissed, if you know what I mean” she said with a wink.

“This is what I’ve been trying to tell you this whole dammn time Jennifer, Larry was just using you, he could never be interested in you and a small little girl could easily tell that, I mean you’re an Omega for crying out loud” she leaned in and whispered in my ear.

“Bitch Omega’s should know their places, you are never going to be Luna, not in this lifetime, maybe in the next, huh”

“Larry , what is going on?” I barked, now that I had gotten enough of this pushing her away from me, and stepping towards him he didn’t respond he just hung his head in shame avoiding looking me in the eye.

“Did you kiss her? Is it true?”

“Come on Jennifer, you’re embarrassing yourself in front of everybody”

“Was I talking to you?” I barked, not even looking at her “Larry , answer me, did you kiss her?” he nodded, my heart sank, and all the air left my lungs, I started feeling dizzy again.

“Were you even planning on coming to the cabin tonight?” He took a deep breath and shook his head with his eyes closed, my mind raced thinking about nothing and everything at the same time

“Oh my god Larry , did you send those rogues after me?” he froze and held his breath as he heard my question.

So It was you, wasn’t it?” They were telling the truth; Larry did send them to kill me “but why?” I bark with my face inches from his taking him by the chin and making him face me.

“why would you want to kill me? What have ever done to you Larry ?” the tears started streaming down my face, as his eyes told me the entire truth, we have been together for a long time, and he could never lie to me when our eyes met.

“You know that I love you more than life itself, more than anything, more than myself” He still didn’t answer, he just shifted his gaze avoiding me again, my heart ached from the question that was burning inside me, what do you do when you have a question you must ask, but don’t want to know the answer to? I took a deep breath, and just let the words come out

“So, is it her, is Ivythe one you pretended not to like, is she the one you want to be with?” Still no answer his silence was starting to anger me

“Answer me Larry , did you try to kill me sob ou could be with my sister?” I barked.
