An hour. That was how much longer they left us alone for.
KYLIE's POV"you can't be taking the blame for everything , especially when you weren't really aware of what was going on." Elijah pointed out and I let out a long breath."It's not that I want to take responsibility for every bad thing that's happening." I said and looked over at the sea tide, "but if I hadn't just done that spell, the water would not have pushed back like that. Now it's making room for things I don't even understand."

In truth, I had not been completely myself since we came back from Damien's ruins days ago, but I figured that was simply because of everything that had happened- the ash veins, as well as how much of myself I had dispelled while perfor

ELIJAH's povThe wind was rustling violently around the circle where Kylie knelt and performed the spell. I wanted nothing more than to rush in and get her out of there. But I had given her my word that I wouldn't try to stop her until she was done, cleansing the circle and although it was the hardest thing ever, I stood still and let her finish."Do you think she's okay in there?"
