I had finished getting dressed and was now patiently waiting for Ryan to come. I told my mom that I was going out with Destiny so she could let me leave. I also called Destiny to tell her to cover for me if ever my mom decided to call her. Damon hasn't come back to bother me and I was glad. He was so annoying sometimes I just couldn't deal with him.

As I was scrolling through my feed, I noticed a spark of light flash through my window. I went to check what it was and I saw a car parking on our driveway meaning Ryan had finally arrived. I quickly grabbed my purse and ran downstairs to open the door for him. When he rang the doorbell, I waited at least ten seconds to make sure he didn't get the impression that I was waiting for him at the door.

There's some errors in this chapter. Like what Ryan does for a living. In one spot he's a bank manager and another he's a police officer.
