The date of the council had finally been set. The Alpha and Moon of the Golden Pack called Izan to inform him. They had come to the Eclipse Pack when my aunt died. I didn't know how close they were to my aunt and uncle until they approached me with grief.

The look of sorrow in their eyes was evident.

“It's a surprise to finally meet you, but I'm sorry it's under these circumstances,” Luna said measuredly. “Solange never gave up looking for you, and I'm relieved to know that she finally found you and in the best of circumstances, with a good Alpha.”

Those words shook me, and I nodded and thanked her for everything.
