a long dream

Tessa's POV

I felt like I was in one long unending dream.

Sometimes I was floating.

Sometimes I felt grounded.

Sometimes I felt like my head would kill me.

Sometimes I felt like there were people around me.

Sometimes I felt like my bones were on fire.

It was one long dream.

Or was it?

After what felt like eternity, I woke up.

The first thing I noticed was that my whole body was hurting.

I tried moving and my body felt like lead. It was heavy.

My eyelids felt like they were nailed on the ground. They couldn't open.

I stayed still for a long while trying to wrench the pain away and I tried prying my eyelids open slowly by slowly and after a long while, I opened them.

It was painful but I forced myself to roll my head and observe my surroundings.

I could tell that I was in a small room and it was very dark. What made me see were my wolf powers were but I felt like those were tied from the inside too.
