Chapter 31: First Visit

I woke up with a big smile, knowing today was the day I could see him. I got up with Jeremy and put him back to sleep while I took a shower and began to get myself ready. I looked outside the truck was gone, my dad must have already left early. I picked out my best outfit and curled my hair. I put on a light amount of makeup, I didn’t want to make it obvious I was trying to look good for him.

It bothered me I wouldn’t be able to see him often, so I wanted to look good when I did. I began cleaning up my dad’s breakfast mess and made myself a coffee. I sat at the table and started to make myself a list of stuff to pick up, I need to make sure I get myself some books and lots of stuff to write.
