Alpha Warren calls a meeting!

I heard something behind my back and turned around to see, but there was nothing. When I turned back again, both the wolves were gone.

I took a deep breath, having a very bad feeling that something dangerous was starting to unfold.

I reached my college and met my best friend, Collin.

"Where were you? I was searching for you everywhere," he asked me in a concerned tone. I didn't think it would be a good idea to share about meeting two devilishly handsome men with him.

"Just busy finding a book in my locker," I said to him, and he nodded his head in understanding.

Suddenly, I started feeling an itch all over my body, and I noticed a red mark on my elbow.

"I guess you had a rough night," Collin said to me with a hint of blush on his face.

"Every night is rough, dude, when you are the beta's daughter," I said to him while walking. I don't know how, but I tripped and fell hard on the floor.

"At first, I thought you couldn't shift, but now I know you can't even walk. What a worthless piece of shit you are," I heard a mean voice.

I raised my head a little and noticed that Bianca was standing in front of me with full attitude. I knew she intentionally pushed me to the ground.

"Fuck off, Bianca," I said to her in anger, trying to get up from the floor, but her knee hit me and I fell again. She literally walked over me, her heel digging into my skin.

"Bianca, step off! You're hurting her," Collin took my side.

"Last time anyone dared to raise his voice at me, my dad mounted him on my wall," Bianca said in full attitude.

She was just a snobbish bitch, thinking that just because she was the alpha's daughter, she could step over anything. And that was the reality.

Her father, Alpha Warren, was a cruel wolf, and so was his daughter.

Like father, like daughter!

Bianca charged at Collin.

"You can't talk to my best friend like this," Collin said to her in a daring manner. I wanted to support him, but I couldn't.

"How dare you?" Bianca seethed in anger and pushed him to the ground.

Bianca then walked over both of us, her bloody sharp heels digging deeper into our skin.

"I'm sorry," I said to Collin.

"You should have supported me," he said to me, and we both got up from the floor. My front hurt.

"I couldn't because we both know the consequences," I said to him with a sorry expression.

"If we both stood by each other, she couldn't insult you like this," he said to me in anger, and I hung my head low.

I indeed made a mistake. I looked at Bianca with anger, and she grinned at me wickedly.

What was she up to now?

"What's going on in the corridor?" I heard Principal Smith's voice, and now I understood why Bianca was looking at me wickedly.

"Principal Smith, she tripped me and threatened to mount me on her wall. She humiliated me," Bianca complained about me, and I looked at her with wide eyes.

What a liar this woman was!

"Principal Smith, she's the one who tripped me. I even have marks from her heels," I said in my defense.

"Enough! Selena, come to my office now," he said to me angrily.

What the hell?

Was everyone turning a blind eye to Bianca's deeds?

I entered the principal's office, where Smith was dialing a number. Oh shit, he must be calling my mom and dad.

"Please, Mr. Smith, don't call my mom and dad. I won't repeat my mistake," I begged him, but he turned a deaf ear to me.

My parents must be very upset that they had to leave their beta duty for some silly complaint of mine. And Alpha Warren hated any disruption in his work.

Soon, my parents came in a sour mood.

"Yes, Principal Smith, you called us? We've left our important work for this?" my dad said, getting irritated.

"I have work too. I'm a high-profile member of this pack," Smith said in arrogance.

Why was he behaving as if he didn't know that my parents were the beta of the pack?

Was there something missing that I didn't know?

Principal Smith narrated the whole story from his version and put all the blame on me. Mr. Smith was a cunning man who would never take my side compared to his alpha's daughter.

After all, Alpha Warren excused him from the meeting in exchange for taking care of his daughter.

How was I living with such hypocritical people?

Mom gripped my arm tightly and took me home.

There was a silent atmosphere in the room until Dad decided to break it.

"Selena, how could you mess with the alpha's daughter?" Dad said in a disappointed tone.

"But Dad, she's the one who came in my way," I said in my defense, and he shook his head.

"It doesn't matter. We have to do something," Dad said, looking at Mom.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Bianca messed with you because she knows you don't have the wolf spirit, and she would kill you before Alpha Warren orders us to kill you," Mom said in a depressed tone.

"We have to go somewhere else," Dad said in a serious tone, and I looked at him with wide eyes.

"Are you guys thinking of running away?" I said to him.

"Yes, but there's not a single place where we can hide from Alpha Warren," Mom said, gripping her hair tightly.

"Then we'll be on the run continuously," Dad suggested.

Everything was happening because of me, and I wouldn't be able to forgive myself for this.

"Dad, please don't sacrifice your pack house for me," I said in a depressed tone, and Dad chuckled.

"For you, my dear daughter, I can do anything," Dad said in an emotional tone, and I felt so touched by his words.

We were all discussing when the siren started.

"Alpha Warren is calling us for a meeting," Dad said to Mom in panic mode.

And I worried that the meeting was about the two wolves I met in the morning
