Chapter 3

Lixue yawned as she woke up and got up from her bed.

"I'm still a bit sleepy," Lixue said to herself as she got up.

Lixue walked out of the room while tying her hair she didn't care where she was now.

"Hey!" Shuji said from behind her.

"Oh?" Lixue said turning her back on him.

"Do you do that here? You don't house it!" Shuji said.

"I'm sorry, it's not allowed," Lixue said and lowered her hand neatly through her hair.

Lixue walked downstairs just looking at him from behind him.

"Papa!" Shuji calls his father when they see him at the dining table.

"I'll leave you guys I have more to do," Raiden said and stood up in his chair.

"Wait, you don't tell dad that I'm with you, you know I don't like his new family," Lixue said as she held her godfather Raiden's arm.

"I know very well that's why you rented an apartment so you could get away you got burned," Raiden said to his godchild.

Shuji and Lixue were left at the dining table. Lixue immediately sat down on the chair and ordered the maid to sip her coffee. She spooned a dish and rice placed on her plate before she ate and she ignored Shuji.

"Leatrice, can you come today? Maybe you're going somewhere." Shuji said as he sat down on the chair and spooned rice and dish on his plate.

"I'm not going to do anything, I plan to look for a job here, I don't want to be a burden to you or your godfather." Lixue/Leatrice said and put the dish and rice in her mouth.

"Then come with me to my agency at Sakura Modeling Agency I will introduce you to our manager and he will test you and if you don't accept patience we will talk to Papa," Shuji said he averted his gaze and thought of his girlfriend.

"I'll just consume it and then I'll take a bath but if I'm not accepted I'll leave right away," Lixue/Leatrice said.

"All right," Shuji said as he ate breakfast as well.

"You've been at the agency for a long time, Shuji I'm just curious," Lixue/Leatrice said when she ran out of drinking water.

"Yes, after I went to high school there was hmm..someone saw me, talent manager, I grabbed that I hadn't left yet because when I tried to stop for my law studies case I missed I stopped again," Shuji replied drinking his coffee as well.

"You can go back to your studies or at the same time, of course, that's not what you're going to live with your future family," Lixue/Leatrice said.

She immediately stood up and walked up the stairs.

'She was right when she said it wasn't a lifelong job.' Shuji said in his mind he followed it with a look.

Shuji just waited for Leatrice because he was dressed when she talked to him.

Shuji saw Leatrice coming down the stairs. He felt different and suddenly his heartbeat quickened.

"Let's go?" Lixue/Leatrice stopped around when Shuji stared at her.

"Let's go!" Shuji replied as he averted his gaze.

Lixue just nodded and followed Shuji who came out of the house first.

While Shuji was driving his cellphone rang. Shuji immediately answered the cellphone using the bluetooth headset.

Calling...

Erika (Darling): Darling, where are you? You said you were going here early?

Shuji: I'm going there with someone.

Erika (Darling): Who's with you?

Shuji: Dad's son is from China.

Erika (Darling): Can he speak Tagalog?

Shuji: It's still fluent! I thought it was slang to speak.

Erika (Darling): Is she better than me or our co-model?

Shuji: ...

Erika (Darling): Darling?

Shuji: I put it down so I can't concentrate on driving.

Shuji immediately put down his cellphone he and looked at Leatrice he didn't want to fool himself that he was being nice to her.

"Why? Will you tell me something?" Lixue/Leatrice asked as Shuji looked at her intently.

"Nothing! Why didn't I meet you? If Dad was giving birth to you?" Shuji asked Lixue even though he wasn't looking at it.

"I grew up in China, I wasn't always with my dad on the trip when my godfather and dad met. I was in the same place with my mommy and my sister," Lixue/Leatrice said but Shuji didn't speak.

"You don't like to travel abroad?" Shuji asked after the silence.

"It depends if my parents agree," Lixue/Leatrice said.

"Where are your siblings or your parents?" Shuji asked wanting to get to know the woman next to him little by little.

"Mommy and my brother are gone. A tragedy happened to our family. They didn't survive. Let's not talk about your questions to me personally. I can't tell everything to someone I don't know. Your dad knows that." Lixue/Leatrice said and looked out the window.

After a few hours, they both reached the Sakura Modeling Agency. Shuji parked his car in the parking lot before they got out of his car he crouched his forehead when his girlfriend bruised his eyebrows.

"Darling!" Shuji called to his girlfriend and he immediately kissed her on the lips.

'She's Shuji's girlfriend, now I know.' Lixue said secretly that she was watching the two talking.

"Leatrice, Erika is my girlfriend..darling, Leatrice is the godchild of my Papa from China," Shuji said to the two women as they introduced each other suddenly.

Lixue didn't smile at the two and looked at her.

"Leatrice? Can she speak?" Erika said as she looked at Lixue.

"Let's go inside, darling Leatrice just follow us I'll introduce you to our manager," Shuji said as he looked back at Lixue who was looking all around.

Lixue followed the two inside.

"Who is she? Brad, you're done face-to-face ah!" Akatsuki replied as he looked Lixue in the face.

Lixue showed her blank face to the man in front of her.

"Let's start, guys get ready...miss?" approach of a gay.

"Manager, she's the one I'm referring to looking for a job my Papa's godchild she's from China," Shuji said to the gay to face them.

"Hello, miss are you looking for a job?" gay asked Lixue.

"Yes, I'm looking — what are the requirements here to apply?" Lixue asked gayly.

"Do you have a resume? NBI clearance, police clearance, SSS ID, Resume, Transcript of Records, Birth Certificate, PhilHealth, TIN ID (Tax Forms), PAG-IBIG." gay asked Lixue.

"I have a resume, a birth certificate I don't have; NBI / Police clearance, transcript of record, SSS ID, TIN ID, PhilHealth I have nothing here." Lixue/Leatrice replied and took her bag.

"Manager, my cousin is coming tomorrow," Erika replied to the three talks.

"This rush! You're hired now and you're part of the agency, Erika you teach her what to do and where in the dressing room I'll give you the agency's policy later, you still have less requirements." the gay manager said when he heard the photographer calling him.

"Wow! X — thank you, kuya or ate or uncle what do I call you?" Lixue/Leatrice asked the gay, ignoring the look of the models standing.

"Manager for short! I call you from now on?" asked the gay manager.

"Lixue Snow simple name and unique," Lixue replied to the gay manager.

"Nice name I call you Lixue but your penname is Lixue Snow." the gay manager answers.

"Get ready my models, who is she?" the photographer asked and he even pointed at Lixue.

"Shuji's dad is a new model and is our top model," the gay manager replied.

"Have you had any experience?" the photographer asked the gay as he scanned Lixue without saying a word.

"His job was different, Lixue he's/she's a photographer at Sakura Modeling Agency," the gay manager told Lixue.

The staff, photographer assistant, make-up artist, and stylist looked at them.

"Hi?" Lixue greeted the photographer he looked it in the face.

"Get ready! The top model has already been mediated between you Shuji and Erika. First, change partners for your new partner." the photographer shouted.

The women changed their clothes as the models looked at Lixue including Erika.

"Wow! It's so simple when you're still a señorita, Lixue" the stylist said turning it around.

It turns out that the women frowned because of their new partner.

"Yuhooo!!!" Akatsuki shouted and Shuji hit him and smiled at his girlfriend but his eyes were on Lixue.

After the photo was taken by each group of models all the models went solo.

"I can't take you home or anywhere you're going now," Shuji said to Lixue as he approached.

"It's okay, Shuji I'll meet my old friends here," Lixue replied talking to other models.

A few minutes later they all left the agency. Lixue took a taxi and didn't notice Akatsuki calling her.

"Isnabera is your Papa's godchild, darling." Erika approached her boyfriend when she spoke.

"She's just new to us and what's happening to her is she grew up abroad," Shuji replied to his girlfriend when he turned to look.

"I'm leaving," Akatsuki replied to his two friends.

Shuji and his girlfriend dated and they walked to the mall. A few hours later he took his girlfriend to the condo before returning home.

Lixue was underground talking to fellow agents. After a few hours of conversation left Lixue passed him in the company of his godfather Raiden.
